longhorn steakhouse. theservicewas terrible... maybe because they were so busy it being mother's day. ordered the filet and shrimp/ crab gratin. the steak was excellent, but the shrimp/crab gratin was mediocre.

great dinner!. so i now have a new favorite bread at a restaurant. this honey wheat bread was delicious! i thought my meal could't get any better but then my steak came the bread was great, but the steak was so much better! cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. amazing quality!

my husband and i both got a filet, his with a lobster tail! i'm so glad he let me taste it! amazing!

we've been to longhorn once before...we actually were planning on going somewhere else and ended up there by mistake, but what a mistake to make. awesome restaurant. we're definitely going to end up there a few more times...on purpose!

this is our regular spot for steak. they are pretty consistent with getting doneness right. we really liked the beefsteak tomato salad and hope they bring it back at some point.serviceis generally good. this place seems to stay busy so be prepared to wait at peak times.

great food and absolute bestservicei have ever had.
one of our steaks was over done, they immediately cooked another and comped the entire meal for that member of our party and an apology from the manager. great place.

mediocre at best. the chief good thing about this restaurant was that it was quiet and peaceful--maybe because there were so few people present. my husband and i shared a new york strip steak and baked potato with each of us getting a salad and tea. the salad was fine; the potato was nothing special at all. the steak was terrible. husband found way too much gristle; i found it tough and tasteless at medium doneness. neither of us finished even our half potions. we did like the bread and iced tea.servicewas fine. i would rate our steaks the lowest in comparison to other similar steak restaurants. we have avoided this restaurant due to reading bad reviews over the past few months but the couple with us chose to go here. doubt if we'll return.

awesome!. longhorn steakhouse has the best steak i've had since a child! the porterhouse for two is my favorite. it's served with a roast garlic bulb that is to die for, and the steak sauce sizzles as it is made table side. the mashed potatoes are excellent. bestserviceand food, highly recommend dinning here with low prices as a plus!

ate at longhorn today. had to wait forever even though tables were available. once seated, had to wait a long time before food was served. the wait andservicewas ridiculous! a two-hour stressful lunch. food was marginal. will never go back!!!

went here for lunch today and it was a disaster. they make you wait forever to get a table and there were empty ones all over the place. then theservicewas terrible. we had to wait forever to get our food and all 4 of us got our food at different times. so we ate in shifts. nice! this place use to be good. has gone downhill. will not be back.

dinner tonight, pretty good overall. update: 25 may 2014

we had dinner here, and the first bad experience. ian and i both ordered ribeyes, medium,. and got ribeyes, well done. it took a couple minutes to get our servers attention, but she immediately agreed they were completely overcooked. i asked, almost pleaded, that the meal not be hurried; i had a baked potato to keep me busy. the steaks came back still on the top end of medium, just a hint of faint pink in the center. the manager brought them. i was on the verge of sending them back again (i hate wasting a meal, this was very hard for me), but the manager preempted me by telling us the streaks were comp'd. there was no way in heck i would send them back then. a medium-to-medium well steak beats the heck out of well done, dry steak any day.

so maybe a trainee cook, but this was the first steak i've had from a longhorn that was sent back. the manager did the right thing by us, though, and we'll keep going back.

our family of four ate dinner here this evening. we started with three bowls of potato soup and a ceasar salad. raegan got the trout, erin got the parmesan chicken, ian got a ribeye, and i got the chopped steak. everyone except for me reported their meals were excellent. i think my chopped steak could have been improved by replacing the "wine sauce" with gravy. i had ordered it medium well, but it was just over well done (not a bad thing since chopped steak is hamburger that needs to be cooked to kill bugs).

the iced tea, soup, salad, and bread were all very good.servicewas excellent. our check was 89.41.

i like longhorn. the longhorn, saltgrass, and logans chains are the gold standard for a very good steak at a reasonable price.

lunch at longhorn. this was our ?th visit to this establishment, and we really like their food and theserviceis always great. however, on our last visit i was very disappointed in the hostess that greeted us. she was rude and uncaring. the place was nearly empty and we and several other couples had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. i understand that they were short of wait staff but that was really a disappointment to have to wait that long to be seated in a nearly empty establishment. the wait staff were great and the food was, as always, very good.

first time & horrible experience. the restaurant wasnt busy when we arrived & we just left. the server was unattentive and only came by three times. she didnt tell us about specials or her name. the food was not that great, and the badservicedoesn't help. we had to ask for a1, and by the time she came around with it, thirty minutes later, there wasnt a steak left. she did not ask if we wanted dessert. our table was not cleared, plates were just everywhere. if she was in such a hurry to get home, it should not have taken 20 minutes to get our check--which we had to ask for.

well i couldn't finish my last review but the prime rib as u will see was perfectly cutt the baked loaded potato was small the lobster tail $10 more to add was good. wish he would have asked at the ordering process for an extra plate ... but all in all it was great end of the year meal. i hope blake gets some help in the serving dept. but it is what it is...... let's hope the key lime pie tops it all off.. for the food a 9 forservicei'm sorry but that was a 7 to 5... we will be back for the food maybe during lunch but the prime is defiantly worth coming back for. :)......

blake is our server .... so we were told by the gentleman passing by 6.30 minutes of sitting with no greet:(. but when blake did come by he seemed to buzy... no much personality... and thank goodness our drinks came when he did! we are spliting the prime rib 16 which is 21.99 medium rare lets hope after asking to make sure they have it, it comes out that way. point for our server he brought plates with the bread and ceser salad wich by the way the steak comes with one side the salad is extra....
