been here and to the one in devonport.... food does lookgreat... the cronuts are devine.... newmarket is different as to where it is and the setup ... not that appealing to me really but the food is yum.

the cabinet food is beautiful and looks appetising but after a few visits, it’s a bit of a hit or miss. very cute place though. the doughnuts aregreatthough

i got the 5-inch chocolate and raspberry cake for my birthday. decoration wise was extremely beautiful but the chocolate on top made it a little hard to cut into the cake without making a mess. the cake itself was super tasty, the chocolate taste was super strong and extremely satisfying, the raspberry blended in so well with the chocolate and there was also a layer of mascarpone cream, which helped cut down the sweetness of the chocolate cake and raspberry coulis. the 5-inch cake was supposed to feed 6 people but 5 of us ate it and we still have half the cake left (which isgreatbecause i can have it again the next day). i highly recommend little and friday's cakes for special occasions and will definitely be back to try more of their cakes

great place in newmarket for snacks or some unique bites. the donuts and pastries aregreatand really hit the spot, often quite busy but worth a visit

a friday lunch is well spent at little and fridays!
they dont do cooked food but the options of quiches, wraps and sandwiches are delicious andgreatportion sizes! beautiful decor and, casual service and a perfect place for a catch up.

little and friday is agreatplace to dine at, if you're craving their desserts! my absolute favourite would be the lemon coconut! their cabinet food is a bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it! it's not too sweet and i just love the taste of lemon going down my throat! i love it! i was quite disappointed with this look-a-like quiche. i took a few bites and to be honest it tasted a little bland. i also tried their coffee, and it wasn't that satisfying either. their coffee supplier is from eighthirty, and i was hoping to get a good cuppa. nevertheless, this place is definitely worth a visit if you want desserts!

we ordered: bruschetta of smashed avocado 🥑 $18, a generous serving of avo (i suspect 2 large avocados worth) seasoned with lime and coriander sprinkled with goats cheese. was sooo yummy but was it worth $18? maybe during winter when avo prices are rocket 🚀 high but during summer 🏝 you can probably whip it up at home at a fraction of the price. wrap (around $12) was a good size and quiche (around $10) was creamy, they nailed the texture too👍🏻! appreciated the side of salad 🥗 that accompanied the cabinet food💕. the raspberry donut 🍩(around $6) was divine. not too sweet and the perfect filling to bread ratio 🙌🏽.

average price: $23 including drinks 🥤

vibes: casual business meeting 📁 or brunch with family friends. either or 🤷🏽‍♀️

parking: free parking in front of the cafe. 🚘

negative: perhaps consider decreasing the price of your avo 🥑 on toast 🍞. come on $18 is a bit steep 😬 . introducing more food on the actual menu would begreattoo as there are only 6 items on the new market menu.

loved: free sparkling water! 💦 little and friday will always have a special place in my heart 💓 because it’s one of the first cafes that put effort into making their food look 👀 just as good as it tastes in auckland! kudos for maintaining the quality food and service throughout the years 👏🏼! also love the animal table ‘numbers’ though ours was a whale missing its mandible 🐳. lighting is also ideal for gram pics 📷 haha.

i came here for the first time for a sweet treat - i was not disappointed! i am not usually a sweets person but the display of treats just call out to you, they almost look too pretty to eat! and when you do eat them, they taste just as good as they look! there is also agreatvariety to choose from, which i will definitely be back to try! the place itself was super cute as well!

lovely place to go to withgreatcoffee and food, however at lunch today they only served fried eggs not poached as per menu due to “high demand for eggs” from customers...shame if you didn’t like fried eggs. gave the place a rating of 4 as the lovely lady compensated with their special doughnut for the kids after she asked how everything was and we were honest. would recommend.

quite busy cafe located at new market. fun and lively atmosphere. service wise can be improved as it is quite inefficient and lots of patrons are left waiting overtime. we were given knifes as cutlery but no forks. water is available but no cups. like the novelty idea of using dinosaurs to substitute numbers.greatfood, average coffee.

always agreatplace andgreatfood, their donuts are a staple and delicious coffee! it gets a little crowded at peak times but worth the wait. friendy staff and service.

little and friday's donuts and sausage rolls are to die for!greatcoffee too. it's always super busy though, so you might be in for a short wait for a table.

sausage roll - flaky buttery pastry with a very thick sausage filling. if you're a small eater like me, best to share this with someone.

donuts - they're all so good. just pick anyone.
