reached there on a sunday afternoon with family. good environment. place was so crowded that it took sometime to get a table for 6 of us. ordered beer tasting palates, pizza, fries, burgers. brewery is at the back which is interesting to see and have more joy in sipping good beer. it didnot take long for order to arrive though it was fully packed. items were  of good portions and tasty. good place for a group lunch/dinner out. will go in future more for sure.

an absolute gem. its difficult to decide where to begin - beer - fantastic (highly recommend the beer tasting platter), staff/service - incredible, food - absolutely delicious (we got the platter but burgers, pizza, salad looked amazing), atmosphere - balanced af (music, good vibes, great temp, awesome for kids and families).

gorgeous place to have brunch / lunch with friends and family with kids. located in hobsonville point by the farmers market. great restaurant for kids because they have a big kids indoor play area. adults can have a nice meal or drink there without having to worry their kids get bored on the dining table.

bad attitude towards dogs. we saw on the fb page that they were dog friendly - "we welcome all creatures big and small". was packed outside so we snagged a table at the entrance by the huge hangar doors. two waitresses spoke to us and promised to come back for drink orders. within a minute a man came and dragged our dog by the lead outside with no explanation. maybe a manager? no information and no apologies. such a strange behaviour! was so rude :( no sign anywhere of the rules. after he said "take your dog out of here" will not recommend and will not be back. very disappointed after being to the sister bars in aus.

went there on the day after the grand opening day.
great setup, love the rustic look and the offerings of beers.
but the place leaves you confused about where to order or what to order when comes to food. it was fairly occupied with lunch time casual crowd. still felt that the serving staff were all over the place and too many, kind of you’re surrounded by them. felt a bit uneasy that you’re been watched continually and too much of “can i get you something “. we were asked at least 5 times in 25 minutes by 4 different staff about the food and top of drinks. i think some people may like this attention, i didn’t.
overall happy with the food and beers. a bit pricy though for west auckland . $10.50 for a 420ml standard tap beer

the foods are average, in fact, slightly over priced for the quality, i.e. the burger my friends had was not hot. if you are a beer lover then you will enjoy the $20 beer tasting tray. i do like the relaxing atmosphere and the industrial style.

i've been twice already, last sat (2nd feb) and the official opening 6th feb.

what a place, the aussies certainly know how do deal with large crowds (just compare laneway to baydreams). whilst there was a slight 20 min wait to get in, they had people handing out water and free caps earlier.

great beers, a nice selection of food - from fish & chips to pizza to oysters and fried chicken.

will definitely be visiting more frequently, from the north shore - as i like their weekend farmers market too (generally visit one or two times a month).

this visit i planned ahead and used the ferry services - enabling me to drink more beer, in the lovely 28 deg sun!
