little creatures

went here for a work event couple weeks ago and i gotta say we all had the time of our lives. we tried many different types of their beers and most were good! we also ordered somepizzawhich were amazing didnt even have time to take a pic. the service was very good too and prompt. i wish they were based closer to town cause then i wouldve been a local here!

would be 5 star but one star off for lack of parking.  i was advised not to go on a weekend (too crowded), so partner and i went today - a stunning friday here in auck.  a little overwhelming on entry - 3 different eateries in one big 'hangar' - but a very cool young guy came up to us to explain the place.  sit anywhere, and order from any of the 3.  chose the 'little creatures' menu and quickly chose the triple cooked fries and garlic chillie prawnpizzato share.  great food, chips were crispy and hot - the aoli smoky and delish. pizzawas simple, and just the right amount of heat.  washed it down with a gorgeous oaky trinity hill chardonnay and i was a happy camper!  wait staff attentive, and food arrived quickly.  lovely setting and cool ambience with lots of choice of seating areas.  will be back to try the kittyhawk eatery next time.

been here few times with kids,pizzawas good! fish and chips were tasty, kids enjoyed indoor playground, lot of parents with kids and beers, nice place to be with families at all ages. dj was in friday night, a bit mess when a lot of people here. coffee is not very good.

came here for pizzas and prawn tacos, and they were so good that i’m still thinking about them the next day! the prawn tacos were absolutely mouth watering with each bite. the pizzas were so fresh and on a thin light base. i had the margaritapizzawhich came with fresh chunks of mozzarella that were so good!! also had the garlic cheesepizzawhich was so warm and tasty. will be keen to drive all the way to hobsonville just for this place!

came here with my partner tonight. we ordered the magaritapizzaand fish and chips. we also ordered their white rabbit dark ale. the food was a bit pricey but i really enjoyed their fish. it was fried nicely and was not oily at all, which also complimented perfectly with their tartare sauce. thepizzawas ok and i enjoyed the beer too. overall, it is a lovely place at a nice location.taste - 3.5/5service - 3.5/5value - 3/5ambiance - 3.75/5

my 2nd time here. the first time was last year in winter and i didn't pay much attention to the interior. but this time, thanks to the natural day light, the place was lighted up and the dining area was looking rather spacious and rustic. the foods were awesome. the buffalo wings were absolutely fingers licking good. the pork bellypizzawith kimchi sauce and scallion was something new to me. the chunky chips were so addictive that i definitely need to go for a run tomorrow :) i had an off dry riesling and it actually went well with the foods.

asked to takeaway our left over pizza. the waitress brought over a box and using her bare hands she had just used to handle money, to pick up our ($26.50!)pizzaslices one by one and place into the box 🤢

took the ferry from the city to catch up with friends for a late lunch. liked the vibe and relaxed atmosphere created from renovating the aircraft hangar and the water front location. venue suitable for all all ages, young and old. staff were attentive and service was quick. great beer selection andpizzaand triple cooked chips really hit the spot. will be back for sure.

i've been twice already, last sat (2nd feb) and the official opening 6th feb.

what a place, the aussies certainly know how do deal with large crowds (just compare laneway to baydreams). whilst there was a slight 20 min wait to get in, they had people handing out water and free caps earlier.

great beers, a nice selection of food - from fish & chips topizzato oysters and fried chicken.

will definitely be visiting more frequently, from the north shore - as i like their weekend farmers market too (generally visit one or two times a month).

this visit i planned ahead and used the ferry services - enabling me to drink more beer, in the lovely 28 deg sun!
