little buddha cafe

i love everything about this little cosycafeby the river ganga. from food to ambuiance, amazing crowd and definitely the vibes. recently during my trip to rishikesh i encountered this wholesome cafe. with beautiful wooden interior and low dim lights makes it extraordinary and relaxing. as per food, i adore their wide range of varieties from middle eastern to nepali, indian, chinese, italian and everything was authentic. something that i loved more about this place was their choice of condiments present at your table. chilli sauce, tamato sauce salt pepper, oregano, chilli flakes and balsamic vinegar. i mean whaaaaa? that was unbelievable. moving on to what we've ordered.

1) our special pizza, loaded with mushrooms, baby corn, olive, spinach and cheese. it was delightful.

2)besciamella al funghi pasta. super creamy and loaded with cheese. unbelievably satisfying.

3) chilli potato. nothing too fancy but still love it

4) mix veg thukpa, in a cold chilly evening near river side, this hot bowl of thupka was a pure bless.

5) mix veg momos, nothing extraordinary but love that sauce.

6) chocolate, strawberries, mango, oreo (individual shakes with ice cream) and cold coffee.

this is a busy spot with a good atmosphere. wide and good menu with most dishes good to excellent. a place you can definitely go with confidence of a good evening/lunch. reliable.
but one can only enjoy the café either late evening or in monsoons or winters if you are going in summer afternoon it may make you irritated as this place is near the river bank and observes immense suns heat.
coming to food everything was upto mark but due to warm weather we really enjoyed the crushed lemon ice and due to which i would rate it 4 or else i have only visited this place for its name..
just a suggestion to the café owners, guys please install desert cooler it will really help..

the quality of food was not up to the mark. dumplings were soggy and the veggies were not cut properly. burger tasted like tomatoes, pan cake was also soggy, the quantity of nutella was meagre, we had to ask thecafeto revamp it.
ambience was fine but on the other hand service was slow.

thiscafehas all together a different vibe. at night or evening, it feels so amazing and good to be here and chill. its in the lanes of laxman jhula and you have to take stairs to reach the cafe. from outside it looks some house but once you enter the cafe, you feel the vibe of ganga river view. the food is also amazing! we ordered pizza and noodles. we visited thiscafealmost at closing time, so less options were available but pizza and noodles were really good in taste. mojito and limbu pani good.🧋 you should visit this place at-least once if you are in rishikesh.

hi.. we went tocafeduring evening/night the view was awesome... ambiance is happening and we ordered tomato soup, penne arabita pasta, pizza and biryani.. each and everything was complete in itself and very much tasty.. we love it...biryani and soup was fab.. pizza and pasta was good .. highly recommend to anyone coming to rishikesh...

this was among my list in rishikesh and turn out to be pathetic. place is just at right place with nice view but they failed to balanced it out with food.
food was not fresh, i mean how such famouscafecannot even serve decent fries.
most of review said best thing to try was lemon nana, again disappointment.
i think an indian is definitely not their target.
pizza was just to try, pathetic- fries, pasta, momos
out of all we were only able to finish our cold coffee.

one of the best cafes to visit when in rishikesh. my rishikesh visit is incomplete without visiting this happening place. generally, this place is always full of firangis, the ambience is cosy and with a clear view of ganga and laxman jhula.
the food of thiscafeis amazing though the service is kinda slow.
falafel all and cold coffee is highly recommended and my all-time favourites. also try their pasta and momos they won’t disappoint you at all.

this place is so cool. the view from thecafewas mesmerizing. we ordered quesalidias which was yummy and some fresh juice and mint lemonade. but the service was little slow due to crowd.

we came here for breakfast. it's a cute little place in tapovan. food was good in quantity and quality as well. everything tasted fresh specially the juices.view from thecafeis great if you find the right seat!! service here was pretty slow but that is the case in almost all cafe's here!

little buddhacafeis one of the most famous cafes in rishikesh. offering a beautiful view of the lakshman jhula and the ganges, this rooftopcafeis a must visit when you're in rishikesh. they have an elaborate menu serving some of the best dishes in rishikesh. we ordered a pizza and loaded cheesy french fries along with a coffee latte and chocolate shake. all the four food items satisfied our appetite to the heart's content. the prices are also very reasonable and won't dig a hole in your pockets. however, please make sure to go a bit early or be patient enough to wait for getting a table as thecafeis well crowded, specially on weekends. a must visit for the ambience!

though thiscafehas a nice location, the place is very congested. above all, the customer service is pathetic. they are very rude and they don’t really understand whatcafemeans. even if you sit idle for 20-30 mins talking and chitchatting, they will come and ask you to vacate as you haven’t made your next order. i wish we could give them ‘0’ rating.

so this place has quite lengthy and elaborated menu with lot to offer. we ordered one pizza with eggplant because i never had it and it was yum! also order a vegetarian platter. they have lovely options on platter which is twist with veggies and that’s good to try! the view is mesmerizing from this place and that’s why it was in my top list! thiscafeis normally active and filled with foreigners.

i love little buddhacafeand we make sure to dine there every time we are in rishikesh.

quantity of food is a lotttt and taste will blow your mind. order anything without thinking and you will get the best food at your table.

view is awesome so make sure to wait a while (if it’s crowded) and get the rooftop seats and you can enjoy mountains above, flowing ganga below and people enjoying rafting.

ps- we ordered omega 3 salad, red sauce pasta and steamed paneer momos.

the place has good inflow of foreigners. this is small rooftopcafewith the view of laxman jhula being its usp. ordered burrito, falafel, pasta and cheese mushroom toast. the burrito and falafal were good, pasta and could have been better. also tried their desserts, nothing great.

the place has a great view, thats a usp of the place, they serve good hummus, avacado shake was good though i would prefer it to be a bit cold but it was warm, maybe thats the way they make it, i didnt ask. i had a pleasant noon, they cad upgrade their seating a bit, should work on the ambiance but i guess lack of it makes up with the view that thiscafehas of ganga. in total i loved the place for its view and food
