good hot chocolate... bad customer service. while walking down 15th ave. e with my pregnant wife and 12 month old daughter in the early morning hours, we came along liberty. in the window, they advertised espresso drinks. we entered theestablishmentto get out of the cold and rain and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. i ordered a cup, paid $3.28 for it, had a brief pleasent conversation with the woman behind the counter, and sat besides my wife and sleeping infant daughter. while enjoying a few sips of our drink; after being in theestablishmentfor approximately 5 minutes, a man approached my wife and i and informed us that children are not allowed in the establishment. we asked why and he informed us that the place is a "bar". he gave us a "to go" cup and kicked us out in the harsh elements.... i am confused to why the personnel behind the counter didn't inform us when we entered theestablishmentthat the place was considered a "bar" and children were not allowed. if we were properly informed, we would have happily gone on our way to the nextestablishmentthat sells hot chocolate. as we left liberty, my wife and i looked for visible signs (inside and out) which would indicate that no one 20 years or younger can enter the establishment; to our surprise, there was none.... liberty may make good hot chocolate, but they will take your money and not provide you good customer service.
