one of the best steakhouses i've ever visited. we dined here on christmas eve and the service was outstanding, all staff were attentive and knowledgeable, we had a strip-loin and a rib-eye steak accompanied by creamed spinach, mushrooms and fries - all were delicious, 10/10! the puddings were superb and our evening ending perfectly with an after-eight mint cocktail which was divine! looking forward to returning next year, the bill plus tip totaled 850 aed ...and it was worth every dirham!

lexington grill is a steakhouse that opens for dinner only. it's got over a hundred wines to select from and the most amazing salads and steaks. rely on your steward to be served with the meat as you like it best. we were served a hand crafted drink at the end that tasted like "after eight" and that rounded up one of the most satisfying and romantic dinner ever. cost for a couple approx aed 700.

i had a three-course dinner at lexington grill, while staying at the hotel. the food from appetizer to main to dessert was cooked perfectly. the appetizer itself was a huge portion, and the steak for my main was beautifully cooked, exactly medium rare. dessert was a bit rich for my palettes. chef was great and came out and greeted us, which definitely put the extra icing on the cake.

well well well... this top-end steak joint serves up some serious beef.

i ordered 300gm canadian ribeye (medium) and it was almost perfect. juicy, flavorful, and just perfectly done, the only negative was that it wasn't very thick. pity it wasn't 3,000 gms :) sides were good and the sauces accompanying the steaks could be better. can't fault the service one bit; the waiters, the manager, all were very friendly and willing to assist. food is definitely not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

don't miss out on this wonder if you're staying at waldorf astoria or just visiting rak.

ordered a 250g aussie wagyu sirloin and a 200g green bay tenderloin - both were well-rested, beautifully seasoned and cooked exceptionally well, to our liking; medium rare.

service was spot on, from the moment we walked in. our server was helpful and very attentive. we weren't sure which sauce to order along with our steaks, so he brought us a few. we had a 3 sides, creamed asparagus, wild mushrooms and the hand cut chips - all were decent portions and very tasty.

in retrospect, i wish we had belly space for starters and dessert - if their main meals were anything to go by, no doubt we would have thoroughly enjoyed it.

overall, we had an amazing time here and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in ras al khaimah and in the mood for steak.

we stayed at waldorf astoria for our anniversary weekend and it was gorgeous. had our special dinner at lexington grill and everything was brilliant. i have to give special credit to the gentleman at the bar - prajapati, he made the best mai tai's and old fashioned. what an art! for starters we had burrata and sea bass and a steak for mains. food was amazing and service was top class.

wanted to visit this place for so long, got to go on a weekday with a friend. its one of those places that gives you a calmful relaxing vibe. first of all, the menu is a little different from the one we saw at the restaurant. we ordered scallops for starters, seabass and a sirloin as mains with mashed potatoe and mushrooms on the side. scallops were okay ish but everything else was great. the mashed potatoes were out of this world and reminded me of the ones i had in gordon ramsays restaurant. yum. i think it all came out about 6 or 7 hundred.

really enjoyed lexington grill, nice decor and feel with curved shape of the restaurant. had the chateaubriand for main which was unreal and well worth the visit on it's own.

what first attracted me to visit the waldorf astoria ras al khaimah was their current ‘dine around’ package, which promises three courses spread over three of their on-site restaurants (lexington grill, umi, and marjan…my inner foodie loves a diverse evening).  my dining partner and i deviated a bit from the plan (enjoying two courses at lexington grill), but our first stop was at umi (although to be fair, the evening actually started with drinks on the terrace at camelia, also recommended).  at umi, which takes on a modern design with cool blacks, a literal wall of sake, along with traditional sushi and teppanyaki bars, we worked a bit with the menu and a bit ala carte (yes, being a food blogger does come with its privileges).  after reviewing what was available, we decided on wasabi rock shrimp, aed65 (because, of course), wagyu tataki, aed98 (order your own portion, because as polite as i was trying to be, the truffle ponzu sauce was everything) and the prawn shumai truffle sauce, aed60 (which, while i loved the presentation — individual twee steam baskets — was my least favorite of the three, mostly because i find dumplings to be a bit chewy and flavorless
