the ice cream was very good as advertised and the service was pleasant. had the honey, almond and cream which i'd happily have a second time. worth the visit, will go again.

i fell in love with their ice-cream. it was my first lavender ice-cream - awesome. caramel swirl is also recommended. this place has a really cool atmosphere. it's a must while visiting savannah!

even tho the line is long! it's worth the wait! great ice cream for a hot day in savannah! lol types of flavored you can't get anywhere else!

at 10:00 pm, we saw the line all the way down the sidewalk, but decided we didn't have anywhere we needed to be. so glad we waited, it was a bit hot and humid, and a server came out with glasses of ice water for everyone in line. we waited about 15-20 minutes in line, but perused the menu during that time. i thought i had made up my mind, but when we finally got to the counter, i was stumped. settled on coconut scoop and banana scoop, both divine. tasted everyone else's and concluded the strawberry was the favorite. if you don't stand in line for leopold's, you just don't care for ice cream.

wish i could have tried more flavors! butter pecan was amazing though. trying to imagine in my head the lavender. i think if you go closer to dinner the line dies down. :5:00 or so

there is always a huge line for leopold's ice cream. a pretty big tourist spot but definitely worth the wait!! grab one of the menus to read in line so you can figure out what you want to eat before your turn because everything sounds so good...

great for dessert. family ice cream recipes going back 95 years. limited but classic selection of flavors. best ice cream ever!!! worth the wait in line.

wonderful ice cream. various flavors with or without a "little something extra". stood in line for around 20 minutes but well worth the wait. will make a make a point to visit every time in savannah.

thick and rich ice cream. reasonable priced. double scoop perfect to share.
good traditional and seasonal flavors.

a gem of savannah. great ice cream and shakes. expect a line but try a sample of seasonal flavors. chocolate raspberry swirl was divine, as was the mocha chocolate chip. the lavender flavor was truly interesting. worth the stop when you are ready for a sweet treat. moderate to pricey. not a bad value though.

it's not bad for a tourist attraction. i've lived in savannah for years, but i only recently went to leopold's ice cream. it's true that there is pretty much always a long line no matter what time of the year it is, but the line does move pretty quickly. the ice cream is good, but in my opinion the scoop size is smaller then most other places i've been to in savannah. there are a ton of interesting flavors, but only a couple that you haven't heard of before. the bottom line is that if you are already downtown it's probably as good as it gets for ice cream. however, if you are just having an ice cream craving you might choose another ice cream spot for a shorter wait and a better value; because honestly, if i was blindfolded and tasted brewster's ice cream next to leopolds, i doubt i would know the difference.

great ice cream. we had heard about this ice cream and wanted to give it a try. she got scoop of cream and chocolate chewies and i got a scoop of caramel swirl and a scoop of rum raisin. i can definitely see why folks say this is some of the best ice cream in the world!

worth the wait. everytime we've passed the store there always a long line. so we've gave in and stood in line. all i have to say it's definitely worth the wait! the ice cream is delicious.

overrated. honestly i have given then a few tries and every time i felt underwhelmed... also pretty expensive considering it's just ice cream.
