leafy greens café

as non-vegans, it was with a great deal of curiosity that we had our lunch club at leafy  greens.  we all opted for the bigger of the two plate options & were really impressed with the variety of options.  the food was delicious (don't sound so surprised fi!!), & we all thoroughly enjoyed it.  i felt incredibly full, but managed to find space for a chocolaty nutty treat which i thought was a little small, but absolutely delicious!  the highlights for the group were the apple sherbet drink & the low light was a coconut drink served in its shell which was all of 2 sips. the location is lovely, but from a logistical point of view we were a bit frustrated when we came to pay that the card machine wasn't working (which we were only told when the bill came!!), but were given the option of doing an eft from the computer in the shop next to the restaurant.  so - would i go back - no - actually none of us would be desperate to, but that's the aim of our club - to try new places & new things!

loveleafygreen. gorgeous food in a peaceful setting. healthy and filling. buffet excellent and smoothies great. cheesecake absolutely wonderful.

loved my time spent atleafygreens! it's quite a drive but once you're there it's so worth it .. delicious food, great service and a soul filling atmosphere.

my birthday lunch gave me the opportunity to drag my entire, skeptical, family along to what my carbi & carnivorous brother referred to as the "grazing meadows"!!!
as expected, his sarcasm was soon swallowed when he saw the spectacular spread on offer! of course, the craft beer selection didn't hurt either, but this is a great offering ofleafygreens that often deters my dining partners from other veggie establishments.
from the craft beers and vegan pizza to the coconut coffees and and decadent desserts; i cannot fault anything atleafygreens and the fact that it has won the hearts of my whole family too makes it my number one restaurant for life! 💚

literally my favourite! :) i love love loveleafygreens. if i lived any closer i would be there all the time. 

the lunch buffet is just fantastic. i know it's pricey at r145 for a large plate, but i pile that plate up and get serious value for money. plus, you know that everything you are eating is organic, super clean, vegan (obvs) and delicious. i have never been disappointed. the service was always on point (shout out to jasper - he was great) and the setting is so beautiful. 

it's my go to spot for a nice relaxed sunday lunch and i really really wish that it was just a bit closer to town... 

ps: open up a sister branch in parkhurst ;) you'll make a killing.

vegan food is usually perceived as "rabbit food" andleafygreens showed that to be so false! they showed what fresh ingredients, imagination & enthusiasm can do!
the food was all fresh, delicious and had such a variety to choose from. salads, cold foods, wraps, pizzas, bakes, dips and so much more...
ambience was great! will defiantly be going back...

i was excited to visit this place because my friends had set the bar real high and i am a vegetarian! everything was fresh, light and tasty. i was absolutely happy with everything that was laid out- would love to visit again !

there is a nice little coffee place outsideleafygreen. that too worked well post the scrumptious meal!

we used to love going toleafygreens but sadly their service has taken a huge nosedive. we waited an hour for food. waiter was inattentive and dismissive. no sense of order in the restaurant. food was okay but not up to the standards i was used to when i went there previously. very sad. will give this place a miss until they get their act together.

we have been toleafygreens a number of times but not enough. everytime is a deliciously indulgent experience. the quality and variety always delights. we especially have loved to eat outside when the weather permits. the natural setting is absolutely lovely and soothes my soul. also had a fabulous xmas lunch in 2019.

goodness!leafygreens is another amazing vegan restaurant. how on earth did you make such delicious vegan food? if i could cook like this i would love to be vegan forever!

we went toleafygreens and had the sunday buffet. it was delicious!! 🤭 the variety of vegan food is so creative and tasty! we were suprised by how much we enjoyed vegan dishes.
the apple pie and ice cream wasnt to my taste, neither was the coffee! but other than that great experience!”

as a new vegetarian it can sometimes be very difficult to find restaurants that can cater for vegetarians and vegans and produce healthy and tasty food. well this place is beyond amazing and i can’t complement this restaurant enough for their absolutely delicious dishes. from their vegan pizza to their whole food smoothies and even their vegan deserts i have never experienced having a bad meal here. thank youleafygreens!

the organic food is truly amazing.leafygreen made me rethink what you can do with vegetables and naturally grown food. their menu is unique, like nothing i've ever seen. its great for vegetarians and actually tastes great!

tasty food. big variety when you have the buffet. i like taking a walk through the garden. great to have such fresh healthy meal while sitting outdoors. i like the vibe. and theleafygreens recipe book is worth buying.

absolutely love this spot. the food is absolutely sublime. such an incredible selection of home made vegan deliciousness. my husband is the most anti vegan, meat loving human you will ever meet. i basically had to drag him here. well, he loved it. didn't even notice the lack of meat/dairy in his food. bookings are essential, and would suggest getting there early for the first pickings. god bless the owners ofleafygreens!
