excellent food! i travel all over the midwest for business and this ranks up there with the best thai food i have eaten. ordered the praram long song and lanna spring rolls and it was delicious! i will definately be back next time i am in town.

yum!!! with early smorgasbord architecture and woodland hills mall adjacent location, this restaurant clearly values function over form. i've been three times, ordered something new each time and have never been disappointed...you can't go wrong. the curry is especially outstanding.

the best mussa-mun curry.. i have to confess, the only thing i ever order is their mussa-mun curry with beef, potatoes and carrots. it's creamy, sweet, hot and decadent.

i really don't care how many calories it has because it's so delicious!

when we think of tulsa as a diverse city, we can practically pick a culture to immerse ourselves in. this week we decided to immerse ourselves into the thai culture, primarily in the areas of food and relaxation. the thai people are very simple, yet myste

best thai, terrible service. i "liked it" because the food is out of this world, but i never go in there expecting good service. in fact, i expect the worst in service (rude, unhelpful, passive) and usually get it. but, there is just no place like it when it comes to the food.

love the curries and noddle dishes. give it a try and hope that you might just get that server to defy the odds.

you so crazy. if you think lanna thai is lacking spice and aroma. the curries i've had here kick the shiznit out of thai siam (bland :p)

very plain - this is "americanized" thai food. i liked lanna, until i explored thai food more and learned what authentic thai food tastes like. lanna's food is average, and it's "americanized" in that the spices and flavors have been tamed. i do not refer to the heat, rather i refer to the flavors. it is missing the aromatics, and the variety of scents and flavors authentic thai food has (or that even above average americanized thai food offers).

i've traveled to various parts of thailand. a dish with the same name may have many different twists on the concept. for example, interpretations of tom kha vary wildly...they all contain cocounut milk, kaffir, galangel, but some have tomatoes, others do not. but all -good- thai food should be aromatic, and one should be able to taste the separate flavors of sour, bitter, sweet, flowery, etc. these various aromas and flavors are missing at lanna thai. it all seems to run together.

thai chef is gone, thai siam has gone downhill. thai village has a pretty limited menu and is americanized too, but at least the dishes are aromatic, and the thai items they do offer are more flavorful. thai village has a narrower selection but if you are a "foodie" then it is a better choice than lanna. i hear there's a new thai place at 30th and harvard that is closer to authentic.

update: recently i was told if you ask the chef to make 'authentic' or traditional thai food at lanna, that they will "un-americanize" it for you.

food is good. lanna thai is very good food, also more expensive, although they do have lunch specials. the thai buffet over on harvard is good, as well.

our favorite thai restaraunt anywhere. live music on weekend evenings is really nice too.
