the atmosphere here was casual. the restaurant is surprisingly nice on the inside. i had the redcurrywith pork. it had very nice flavors and a nice balance between the sweet and spicy elements.

great service, accommodating staff, quick and easy take-out, fabulous dine-in experience. i’ve never seen a thai restaurant as large (and filled!) as lanna thai. there is a reason! love the flavor of their greencurryand pad thai. great place.

where i live you can't beg the thai restaurants to make food spicy enough. i guessed that this might be different here so i asked for 3 out of 5 and thought it was about right. the chicken panangcurryi had was excellent, as were the appetizers we tried. the food was served to each person individually with a side of rice for each, not family style as you might expect. the building and decor has nothing to do with thailand, it looks like it used to be a steakhouse or something.

i love keo's greencurryand wanted to see how lanna thai's compared. verdict: it is comparable in both taste and portion size. the notable differences being that lanna thai uses some canned vegetables (carrots, green beans) in its recipe and is $2 more per dish. if you live in south tulsa this place should definitely save you time and gas money to get to brookside. if you live in midtown, i'd recommend going to keo instead for your greencurryfix.

enjoyed lanna thai. i had gang keow wahn. beef cooked in greencurrypaste, coconut milk, sweet peas, carrots, bamboo shoots, bell pepper, green beans and sweet basil. my server asked me "how hot?" the choices were 1-5. i picked 4.. next time i will pick level 3 or 2. whew! i'm ok now but the heat was a little out of my comfort zone. nothing that 10 minutes won't cure... :-)

i really enjoyed this place. as a traveler, i use urbanspoon as a good place to see what is available locally. my last resort is a big chain. just say "no thankyou".

i'm not a thai expert but i do like the flavor explosion and subtle differences with all the spices. lanna thai did not disappoint. i enjoyed my dinner, the service was fine. i would send my best friend here.

dining by myself, i was seated quickly. service was fine. the restaurant was about half full on a tuesday around 630pm.

for our main entree we shared a dish of green curry. i love the greencurryflavor profile. fresh greencurryis a combination of basil, lemongrass, galangal, peppers, garlic, fish sauce and other herbs and spices and then all wrapped up in coconut milk. really fresh greencurryis delicious, but it takes time to do this sauce right. there is an easy way to make greencurryand it is to buy a little can ofcurrypaste and combine it with coconut milk. i usually use the short cut way because it is fast and easy to get dinner on the table. the easy way is sufficient, tastes good enough and feeds the need for thai green curry.

redcurryand yellow birds. redcurrywith seafood is simply exquisite. try the summer rolls. enjoy live music on weekends. be transported. oh and the yellow canary cocktail is really good too. or yellow bird or something like that, a lanna thai specialty. its yellow. order that too.

yummo!!. i am fairly new to the idea of thai food but the more places i try the more i love it!
came here on a slow monday afternoon and i really liked the atmosphere and the food was amazing! i had the summer spring rolls that have left me craving more and more! i wanted to order another plate of them before my meal they were soooo good! for my entree i had the #13, greencurryat a #3 heat and it was outstanding! it was a huge portion for what i believe was $10.95. you get more than enough for two meals.
the only thing i wasn't too happy about was the service. it wasn't horrible by any means but it wasn't the best either. also, probably b/c of the time i was in here 2:00 on a monday, the restaurant was dead quiet and my husband and i had a hard time feeling like we could even have a conversation just b/c we didn't want the entire staff to hear it. it's a very quiet quaint restaurant and i will defiantly return! the thai food is wonderful!

this place is great! an owner/manager must be reading all the reviews about terrible service & slow food and fixing the problems. i had excellent service - very attentive, but not overbearing. my food came out in normal time. i ordered the spring rolls for an appetizer and they were very good. there is something slightly different that distinguishes them from other restaurants rolls. i got the redcurrychicken dish as my entree and it was absolutely fantastic! i travel to tulsa from dallas for work and i have experienced a number of thai places in dallas - some terrible, most okay, and a few outstanding...i would rank lanna thai in the top three of my favorite thai restaurants based on this experience.

yum!!! with early smorgasbord architecture and woodland hills mall adjacent location, this restaurant clearly values function over form. i've been three times, ordered something new each time and have never been disappointed...you can't go wrong. thecurryis especially outstanding.

the best mussa-mun curry.. i have to confess, the only thing i ever order is their mussa-muncurrywith beef, potatoes and carrots. it's creamy, sweet, hot and decadent.

i really don't care how many calories it has because it's so delicious!

mmmm... that was great. the summer rolls were delicious, and thecurrywas wonderful. the ginger chicken was a bit salty, but also very good. portions were large, so those on a calory restricted diet should share with a friend or be prepared for lots of take home
