thisplaceis great. the fried rice is the best in tulsa. good size portions and very tasty food. usually no wait and very nice staff. if they're busy your order might be mixed up but they'll fix it.

thisplaceis great! the service is not always the quickest, depending on the time of night you go, but their food is excellent. their chicken pad thai is my favorite in town.

also try the chicken penang

this is my favorite thaiplacein town. i usually get the pad thai, 5 stars. everything tastes very authentic and the service is very good. menu can be a little hard to understand and may be the reason i don't switch up my order very much.

i love keo's green curry and wanted to see how lanna thai's compared. verdict: it is comparable in both taste and portion size. the notable differences being that lanna thai uses some canned vegetables (carrots, green beans) in its recipe and is $2 more per dish. if you live in south tulsa thisplaceshould definitely save you time and gas money to get to brookside. if you live in midtown, i'd recommend going to keo instead for your green curry fix.

enjoyed lanna thai. i had gang keow wahn. beef cooked in green curry paste, coconut milk, sweet peas, carrots, bamboo shoots, bell pepper, green beans and sweet basil. my server asked me "how hot?" the choices were 1-5. i picked 4.. next time i will pick level 3 or 2. whew! i'm ok now but the heat was a little out of my comfort zone. nothing that 10 minutes won't cure... :-)

i really enjoyed this place. as a traveler, i use urbanspoon as a goodplaceto see what is available locally. my last resort is a big chain. just say "no thankyou".

i'm not a thai expert but i do like the flavor explosion and subtle differences with all the spices. lanna thai did not disappoint. i enjoyed my dinner, the service was fine. i would send my best friend here.

dining by myself, i was seated quickly. service was fine. the restaurant was about half full on a tuesday around 630pm.

food is ok. i just moved to tulsa and was spoiled by my favorite thaiplacein des moines. the pork dumplings were delicious but my lunch entree l6. off-shore was a little salty. the meat in it however was very good. i will probably eat here again but take out instead it kind of smells like "feet after being in flats all day" inside. that's the only way i can describe it. also i asked if they served sticky rice and the waitress told me only as dessert with coconut. very disappointing because i absolutely love sticky rice plain

thisplaceis great! an owner/manager must be reading all the reviews about terrible service & slow food and fixing the problems. i had excellent service - very attentive, but not overbearing. my food came out in normal time. i ordered the spring rolls for an appetizer and they were very good. there is something slightly different that distinguishes them from other restaurants rolls. i got the red curry chicken dish as my entree and it was absolutely fantastic! i travel to tulsa from dallas for work and i have experienced a number of thai places in dallas - some terrible, most okay, and a few outstanding...i would rank lanna thai in the top three of my favorite thai restaurants based on this experience.

will be returning. my wife and i tried thisplacerecently at the recommendation of one of our friends and were not disappointed. my wife had the pad thai which she enjoyed minus the shrimp, and i had a cashew chicken with veggies and rice, which was amazing. we both ordered our dishes level 2 out of 5 in spice and our american palettes couldn't handle much more zing. i look forward to trying other dishes, but might have found a winner with the cashew chicken.

best thai, terrible service. i "liked it" because the food is out of this world, but i never go in there expecting good service. in fact, i expect the worst in service (rude, unhelpful, passive) and usually get it. but, there is just noplacelike it when it comes to the food.

love the curries and noddle dishes. give it a try and hope that you might just get that server to defy the odds.

very plain - this is "americanized" thai food. i liked lanna, until i explored thai food more and learned what authentic thai food tastes like. lanna's food is average, and it's "americanized" in that the spices and flavors have been tamed. i do not refer to the heat, rather i refer to the flavors. it is missing the aromatics, and the variety of scents and flavors authentic thai food has (or that even above average americanized thai food offers).

i've traveled to various parts of thailand. a dish with the same name may have many different twists on the concept. for example, interpretations of tom kha vary wildly...they all contain cocounut milk, kaffir, galangel, but some have tomatoes, others do not. but all -good- thai food should be aromatic, and one should be able to taste the separate flavors of sour, bitter, sweet, flowery, etc. these various aromas and flavors are missing at lanna thai. it all seems to run together.

thai chef is gone, thai siam has gone downhill. thai village has a pretty limited menu and is americanized too, but at least the dishes are aromatic, and the thai items they do offer are more flavorful. thai village has a narrower selection but if you are a "foodie" then it is a better choice than lanna. i hear there's a new thaiplaceat 30th and harvard that is closer to authentic.

update: recently i was told if you ask the chef to make 'authentic' or traditional thai food at lanna, that they will "un-americanize" it for you.
