the best brunch in dromana, that’s for sure 👌🏻 every summer i come down for brunch here when i stay at my holiday house. the food and thecoffeenever disappoints 😁

never had a bad meal orcoffeefrom this place! i make a point of coming here every time i'm down on the peninsula.coffeeis always spot on, eggs cooked to perfection, everything is very reasonably priced and they're so friendly!! perfect place to hang out in the lane way, watch the ocean, have a deliciouscoffeeand and enjoy one of the beautiful homemade cakes! (made in house, totally worth it!!) treat yourself ;)

only critism is the layout and figuring out how to get a table. it's tucked around the corner upon entry. aside from that food was amazing and great portion sizes.coffeewas also great. staff were friendly and attentive. definitely coming here again when i am on the area.

i think for the food i received it’s quite over priced. the chili eggs were a disappointment. it was just scrambled eggs on a sad piece of toast priced at 16 bucks or something. same with the croissant the bottom was soggy and the benny sauce was just a tiny blob. thecoffeewas just ok. and had to get in a big que to pay for the meal.

really upset to see this place go so down hill over the passed 12 months.
this place a year ago was making some of the best coffees that i’ve ever had.
very sad to see that they haven’t managed to hold on to their wonderful baristas from previous years….
i’ve been in several times over the passed week and each time thecoffeehas been well below par with long wait times and not being told the true wait time. as someone who has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years this is not how you should be running your business and you will soon lose so many of your customers..

what an absolute debacle,
not only is this place ridiculously overpriced, the quality is well abysmal.
waited over half an hour for acoffeethat was sour and luke warm, obviously none of the baristas know what they’re doing. might want to invest in some real baristas… and as for my breakfast, yuck, paid far to much for something i wouldn’t feed to my dog. none of the staff seemed to be wearing their masks properly or seemed to care once i told them about my experience… i will not be back and will be telling everyone i know about how atrocious this place is.. i would give a zero if it was possible

a very overhyped and average cafe. been here twice, decided to give it a second shot after being quite disappointed the first time hence my overcooked eggs burnt bread and hefty bill at the end.
came with a group of 5 and ordered a toastie to avoid disappointment yet it was not melted, and again overpriced. atmosphere was below average and wait staff were not enthused nor were they friendly. my friend ordered a juice and was given acoffeeinstead, and waitress insisted she just keep thecoffeeinstead of what she asked for.
a dollar surcharge for scrambled eggs also frazzled me and the price vs quality ratio was completely out of wack, won’t be returning on my next trip to the peninsula

restaurant was not clean, staff seemed confused. ordered a juice, waitress brought me acoffeeand i told her we didn’t a order that she then asked if i wanted the juice instead. not instead i just wanted what i ordered for, but hey mistakes happen. no cutlery was given, no prices in the display fridge and food was quite overpriced

my parents are regulars at laneway and always take us when we visit the peninsula. the staff are friendly, thecoffeeis spot on, the food is delicious, and the vibe of the place is perfect. love our casual brunches by the bay at this place!

went there over our xmas beak, but just realised my previous review didn’t go through. the guy there (possibly the manager/owner) was super accommodating to our kids and made a special effort to fit us in even when they were fully packed. food andcoffeewas delicious and service was great. also has a nice ambience.

greatcoffeein a nice relaxed setting amongst bric a brac & seconds directly opposite to the beach. also outdoor dining area .

located directly across the beach this littlecoffeeshop is a hidden gem. i am lucky enough to live locally to here and visit it frequently during the week when its not holiday season. weekends and holiday season expect to queues as this gets really busy. there is no table service however food is delivered to you . all the bakery goods are made in house and they have an extensive brunch menu. the smashed avo is my favourite and come hungry as the serves are big! greatcoffeeand a good selection of fresh juices. my tip go mid week and off holiday season

quirky place with funky music. a real gem of a place on the peninsula. generous size breakfast my fave heirloom with 2 poached eggs.coffeeon point. polite staff and child friendly the kids corner keeps my girls busy everytime we go. highly recommended to anyone looking for a quality breakfast and coffee.

very good food but a bit overpriced.

huge queues to order and for higher end melbourne prices they really should offer table service. either way counter service was very friendly, and once we ordered (took 10-15 mins?) ourcoffeeand food both came out surprisingly quickly.

coffee was really good.

food wise - also pretty good.

smashed avo was yummy - the balsamic reduction and cherry tomatoes elevated it to upper echelon brunch option. though at $19, you'd want it to be top notch!

partner had the bacon and eggs (poached), very basic for $18. they don't even butter the toast. if you're going to choose that dish, scrambled eggs might be a better option.

mates who got the croisstant with bacon and eggs were both super happy.

all up i'd go back forcoffeeand maybe a light snack (they do scones!), or breakfast during a non-peak period.

and if zomato let people give half ratings these days (don't know why they removed that option...) i'd be giving them a 3.5
