good food starts withgoodingredients and lady of ro keeps it simple and flavoursome. i'm not sure about the byo mentioned in previous review as we bought a bottle of wine at the restaurant? i would recommend booking as gets busy and if you don't like proximity to other diners it might not be for you. the only downside for us was that the service wasn't great, it felt as though we were being overlooked and we had to keep trying to grab servers as they were rushing past. oh and we didn't get the bread that we ordered. because we weren't at the communal table it felt a little as though we were intruding on a private party. that said, i'm willing to give it another shot because it is a lovely little place with delicious, mediterranean-style food.
update: revisited recently and was rather underwhelmed. bread and olive oil were great but other than a nice greek salad we didn't enjoy the rest of our choices of chorizo, octopus (smelt off), and lamb shoulder (criminally under seasoned). and whilst i like intimate, bustling places, the acoustics in here - or just the clientele - make it impossible to have your own conversation. probably won't bother going back to be honest.
