i was so excited to find this deliciousfrenchbakery earlier on this year but despite the amazing food and bakery, i was shocked how bad the coffee has become the last few weeks. i have noticed that there is a new girl working there now and i have given her a few chance to get it right but it just never got there. once i ordered a latte and i noticed she was about to use trim milk for my coffee which i never asked for! i'm so disappointed at the quality of coffee that it has become lately. i felt totally ripped off to pay for it. if the cafe is reading this review, please train the girl properly as she is really turning your customer away. (sorry it's nothing personal as she is a very nice young lady but has no idea how to make coffee!)

going for a date at the beach, i was craving some delightfulfrenchtreats to go along with a sunny day of water and fun.

having read a few reviews, we knew that it was essential to get to this place a bit earlier to avoid the lines and to have the whole range of treats avalible.

to our surprise, the place was still packed at around 9 am, but thankfully they looked like they had quite a lot of stock left.

we ordered a variety offrenchdelights and they all tasted fabulous but i must say the ratatouille toast and chocolate croissant were favourites.

showstopper: all the baking was nice and buttery. good service amongst the chaos as well.

overall grade: a. such beautiful and tasty food at an unbelievable cost.

hands down my favourite bakery in auckland. the only “negative” thing about this place is everything i sold out very quickly so because they are so good and there’s always a bit queue especially on the weekend. but service is always quick and impeccable. perfect place forfrenchtreats.

everything here is great. my fav is the baguette. so simply delicious. the croissant is pretty perfect too. this is definitely one of the very topfrenchbakeries in auckland.

beautifulfrenchbakery at great prices! great taste. coffee was ok but the breads and sweets very french, unfortunately a takeaway only but definitely worth it, will visit again.

gorgeousfrenchbakery with a variety offrenchpastries and bread all very reasonably priced! service was great and the lady serving us very obliging and knowledgeable! we had the pain au chocolat 5/5, canelle 5/5 & a cravate 5/5!! coffee not so great 3/5.

after visiting this amazingfrenchcafe, it’s understandable as to why this cafe has such high reviews on zomato!

la voie francaise is a reasonably large cafe situated in balmoral, dominion road. nice and clean premises, service was ok, staff were reasonably friendly.

the food was amazing! the sandwich in the photo i ordered was perfect. the bread was nice and soft, ingredients fresh, and very reasonably priced.

i’m not a dessert person, but my boyfriend bought the macaroons and cream donut which were impeccable. not too sweet, tasted fresh, and beautifully packaged.

i came to thefrenchbakery around 1 o'clock on wednesday. i was full of expectations, but unfortunately the cabinet food was almost empty. i asked the lady at the till when is the best time to come for more variety, she answered it will be around 9 or 10am. however 2 kind of sweets which i could get that day were both nice, almind croissant + apricot danish, $4 each.

great bread, great coffee and loved the pastry! staff was very friendly and although there are coming customers in all the time, they take time to explain their products and still make sure other customers get served quickly.
i loved thefrenchflair and the board with thefrenchword of the day. what a nice idea!
make sure you ll come here early as favorites get sold out quickly.
will definitely come back! yum!

good, this is a good averagefrenchbakery. nothing amazing, most of the time a wee bit overcooked (for my taste)... it is still a great place for auckland. worth giving it a try and make your own mind.

love this place! thefrenchdo amazing bakeries and this one is no different. probably the best bread i've tasted so far in auckland and their gelato is heavenly. my favourites are the cabanos, breakfast bap and the mango and passionfruit gelato which comes in a huge serving size (if you get the cup at least).
