our first visit to la farm. my two daughters and i headed over to la farm for the first time. i had heard so many good things. really nice place. greatfoodand service. worth the trip

if there’s a downside to stopping here, it is that they are very busy on weekend mornings, but the service efficient, there is plenty of room to wait around in (or outside, with your dog perhaps), and thefoodis certainly worth the wait. i look forward to seeing you there!

a new favorite. their menu prices looked reasonable, but when i saw their astronomical prices on baked goods (breads, tarts, etc.) i started to worry that my reasonably priced "meal" would be the size of a half dollar. luckily my fears were unfounded and unrealized -- great portions, and magically delicious.

for lunch on my first time i had a roasted tomato galette -- a puff pastry of a great consistency stuffed with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. the side salad was simple and well dressed.

that day set the bar high, but i came back for brunch and it exceeded my expectations. yum. the croque madame was a big portion and every bite blew my mind. (sadly, they only do the later brunch on sundays, but breakfast is every day until 11.)

beware the crab benedict that my friend sent back -- it was imitation crab and looked awful. (i don't see it on the menu, so maybe it was a not-so-special special.) but everything else i watched go by our table looked delicious, and mine definitely was.

the cafe is not full service, but the servers bring thefoodout and are very attentive nonetheless. this is the one strip mall place in cary i've been to that manages to not feel like it's in a strip mall. quite an accomplishment, and highly recommended.

needs improvement on service ;foodgreat .. as a former retired business owner i appreciate great customer feedback and also room for error . but this bakery really hits all points on the quality and ingredients but needs an attitude adjustment in customer service . although we will give it another try cause the baked goods are worthy .

rude and racist employee. like thefoodhere. but i had 3 experiences where employees were racist and rude. just about 10min back, i was in line for bread. one of the asian customer requested bread to feel the hardness. employee arogently threw that piece of bread on dustbin, she (customer) was scared and ask what happened. somehow employee did not realized that she was actually requesting him to buy the bread. he was totally arrogant and all other customers in the line were angree. i did express my displeasure. owner needs to look into this if he wants to maintain his reputation.

downhill fast. my wife and i have eaten at la farm well over 60 times. the last four have been horrible experiences. today i ordered a chicken avocado salad. it comes with a sliced hard boil egg. one bite of the egg and i had to spit it out because the taste was so bad that i can not even describe. the salads use to come with two slices of cheese bread. today i received one slice of stale plain bread. my salad served on a 9 inch by 9 inch plate was no more than one inch high. i counted six fork fulls and it was gone. they gave me on the side salad dressing that was about one tablespoon. the quality has rapidly got terrible. will never go back. the worse however is the owner would not come out and talk to me nor returned messages. my wife's turkey sandwich was not much better. she threw half away. fast forward three months. management reached out to me and was very concerned about my bad experience. they explained that there was a management transition and we just happen to eat there during this time. my wife and i ate there yesterday and thefoodportion and quality was as good as it has ever been. remember we would have never eaten there that much if it had not been delicious. i have never had a restaurant express more concern about a bad experience. bon appetit for another 60 meals!!!

excellent place!foodis great and the prices aren't bad! their homemade granola is amazing. service was friendly and attentive. only problem is they don't have much room for customers. if you go here on a weekend expect to wait for a table for some time. if you want a leisurely breakfast then i suggest trying them on a weekday.

on your first visit they give you a free white chocolate baguette! thefoodis delicious and the staff were so helpful and friendly.

rude employee. my first time in the store, i ordered lunch to go, and while waiting i tried some of the bread samples, and i was approached by an employee and was asked- are you waiting for a friend, what is going on here? very rude, rude, very upsetting!!foodis great, but employee needs some training on how to treat customers!!

i'm dying to go back and try their cafe menu, especially their proscuitto asparagus tartine, which was featured infoodand wine magazine but i did buy a french macaron, belgian brownie and chocolate layer cake.

if you have ever tasted a decent french macaron, the one here will disappoint you. i don't think they have it down quite yet. i would save your money for something else.

the belgian brownie is very rich and has a heavy fudge like consistency. if you like cakey brownies, this may not be for you.

the chocolate layer cake was my absolute favorite! it is a rich and decadent slice of chocolatey goodness with nutella! if you ever had a chocolate attack, this will satisfy you.

overall, very cute bakery/ cafe that seems to have a tasty cafe menu (lots of diners), fresh baked breads and pastries and friendly service. visit here and at least try all the samples they have out.

not a bad deal. every time i go here i make an effort to try something else. this is mostly because the every time i go i absolutely love what i ordered last. i haven't had one thing that i wouldn't highly recommend. the price is some what high but you soon realize you are getting quality. the portions are not typical american portions so be warned on that. i wouldn't say it's a bad thing since typically morefood= less quality.
