my happy place. coming from someone that has tried and tested many of the neapolitan style pizzas in sydney,ladisfida is quite simply one of the best. thin bases, quality ingredients, delicious pastas and a fabulous range of daily specials. do yourself a favour and get there.

pretty good, but not super-cheap. it's the sort of pizza i like - few toppings with a thin, crispy base. pasta wasn't too memorable so stick with the pizza. it was slightly pricier than i thought it would be, but i suppose it's becauseladisfida is so well-known for its pizza it has been able to get away with it. service-wise, a couple of online reviews have complained about it but i thought it was fine - though interesting/strange that all the waiters and waitresses working on the top floor spoke french to each other.

my family and i came here recently for mothers day and had a wonderful time. the service was first class and the food was amazing.
we had
calamari e zucchine fritti - the best calamari i have ever eaten so light and tasty.
eggplant involtini - a special, get it if its on the menu when you are there it is possibly my favourite dish from this place.
garlic pizza - again really tasty but you will stink the next day haha.
gnocchi with pomodoro e basilico - hand rolled gnocchi in an amazing red sauce.
we all had a lovely night and highly recommendladisfida

when i have had garlic pizzas at other pizza restaurants, they have a white base so i was surprised that this one had a tomato base and i really enjoyed it.

i don't know if other people agree with me, but after eating the pizza calledlamotta i thought i would be thirsty, but the strange thing is that i didn't

if you're looking for authentic italian food,ladisfida is the place to visit. every meal was delicious and cooked with love. this is the difference between italian and great italian food. attentive service, home style traditional food and great wine, there's not much more you could ask for. there's also an endless selection of specials to choose from and always an excuse to revisit and try something new.

very nice food. went there and got pizza and pasta. brilliant gnocchi and all together the overall rating for me is a 4.5/10. i would definitely recommendladisfida.

birthday dinner on a sunday night, packed and buzzing. food, phenomenal, best italian in the inner west, and i am italian! gorgonzola aranchini is a knock out starter, homemade gnocchi divine and authentic italian style pizza. cant wait to go back. staff fab also. cannot recommendladusfida highly enough

always lovedladisfida for its authentic neapolitan pizzas. thin based and minimal toppings the pizzas transport you to another country.. i always get the quattro stagione (4 seasons) and it never disappoints

yum!! fantastic authentic italian - fresh, simple and delicious! we ordered two pizzas (margarita andladisfida), a side salad (radicchio) and two desserts (gelato and flourless chocolate torte) and loved them all. service was fast and friendly, moderately priced. will definitely visit again.

best pizza place in the inner west. in a neighbourhood with upward of 7 pizza placesladisfida is the stand out. fresh simple pizzas that are absolute winners.

they serve great meals and the service is very good. their pizzas are the best we've had, tasty, good size and great crust. we've been going toladisfida for years now and they are always consistent. keep up the good work, there are lots of customers who appreciate it.

love love love. our favourite pizza place. the pizza is amazing. we usually start with an entrée special, most recently beef cheeks... spectacular. then we follow with a barletta pizza with prosciutto and a special pasta, this week we had wild boar ragu. i cannot put into words how much we enjoyladisfida. we usually go on a saturday night, the atmosphere is fun and families and very welcome. the service is fantastic and friendly.

named a number of times in the controversial (because people will always complain that their favourite pizza place hasn't been included etc etc)  'best pizza in sydney' lists, isladisfida, an italian restaurant in haberfield. the restaurant is situated on the main road in haberfield and encompasses two levels, but even so, the place gets quite busy and it's best to make a booking. on this cold night friday night, we made a booking for 6 at 8:15pm - a relatively late booking but gave everyone enough time to get there. we sat down, ordered some drinks and then browsed the huge selection of menu items before ordering a plethora of items. insalata caprese (fresh tomato & mozzarella di bufala, basil & e.v olive oil) -$18 - light cheese and tomatoes - a palate cleansing start to the meal. apparently this tastes like what they serve in italy... salsiccia e funghi - tomato mozzarella, pork sausage and wild mushrooms - $24 - great pizza! delicious toppings with a thin ba

the first pizza festival restaurant i dined at wasladisfida in sydney's inner-west. known for their authentic woodfire pizza experience. $20 here includes a choice of pizza, moretti beer or glass of zaccagnini montepulicano or cerasuolo rosato. one ofladisfida's most popular non-pizza dishes is this salad of baby beets, mozzarella di bufala, watercress and rocket ($18). it's easy to see why - the sweet beetroots, the utterly creamy buffalo mozzarella and that sharp pepperiness of watercress and rocket. this is one salad to love!

“but i love a hearty slice of pizza when i’m hungry” i lament.

“well, why don’t you try asking your friends what they want for dinner instead of thinking about yourself all the time” mysaucepan says.

“that’s a load of crap, i always think about my friends” i say, slightly cheesed off by my wife’s convenient generalization of my supposed selfishness.

she gives me a look of resignation and rolls her eyes, ”sure, whatever!” she replies.

i have heard so much about this restaurant and have been wanting to sink my teeth into one of the pizzas at ladisfida  for many years.
