this is the go to restaurant for college students and travellers. situated at the busy street of balmatta, it's a good restaurant.

i always go for their chicken biryani, butter chicken, mix veg and butter naan.

the staff and service is great.

good ambience ... v tried masala prawns which was quite yummy, prawns were fresh & succulent .tried sear fish rawa fry with d neer dosa that too was quite good , dry mutton masala was best of the fare as the dry coconut gravy blended imperceptibly with silky mutton peaces.though service was on the slower side, yet v were quite comfortable & in no rush at all .. overall a good place catering to mangalorean sea food lovers

chicken biryani, chicken sukka, chicken tava fry, naati koli(chicken) pulimunchi, paneer manchurian are good and tasty.
chicken ghee roast was not bad. it was too sweet.

we went to new kudla restaurant in urva market.. had the worst experience ever.. hot summer season half of the restaurant s ac were not working.. we were literally sweating.. when we asked for change of tables to better cooler place, waiters were not helpful.. we found a six seater which was cooler, when we were about to sit one of the waiters was extremely rude and made us get up since we were 4 of us even though almost entire restaurant was empty.. we were really pissed off.. pathetic behaviour.. disrespectful to the customers.. will never visit this restaurant in my life

chicken ghee roast is as good as that which you get in maharaja. and quantity is more too. nice ambiance, affordable. i would give 3.7 of 5.

best place in mangalore for sea food with reasonable pricing. the restaurant serves alcohol. the staff are friendly and is ease to be accessed.

the food was really good! the prawn tastes amazing! service was also very good! the only thing that is miss leading is its not 400₹ for 2 people! its one prawn dish for 400₹!

nobody comes to take order ...takes too long to get the order...very dirty place, full of flies....waiters r very rude, slow ..food is not upto the mark ...paneer masala dost doesn't have paneer in it....very bad experience!!!!!!

great place to go to for authentic mangalore cuisine. total value for money. great quantity, friendly and super efficient service if you know the head waiter. always crowded. food takes a bit of time to reach the table...

don't forget to try out their butter chicken with butter naan and chicken ghee roast! yuuummm!
