classic. so good! don't expect 5-star anything... unless you're really into grade-a buttery burgers.kroll'sis comfortable, the drinks are good, and the food is a truly guilty pleasure that fits green bay perfectly. the best way to treat post-game hangover is with a bloody, akroll'scheeseburger with everything (extra butter), and some curds and ranch. i think i'm drooling...

kroll's west is an institution with people who live in and visit green bay for packers games. i remember the first burger i had atkroll'swest being better than the one i had on this visit.

12/10/13. stopped atkroll'swest for a quick supper and it was our last trip there. 1st impression should have sent us away; there was puke by the front doors (left overs from the packer game?), the service was very poor with hardly any patrons in the place, took well over 15 minutes to get 3 items to eat and 2 of the items were incorrect, as we paid the bill and left, no one asked about our service or food. we don't expect the world but the customer service as a whole was extremely poor. we just paid and left with the intent of not having that on our place of stops for supper again.

a return visit to an old favorite. as native cheeseheads, a trip tokroll'swest is always on the agenda when we make a return visit to green bay.

we always opt for the originalkroll'shamburger, a grilled hamburger patty served over a crispy hard roll, complete with ketchup, pickles, onions, and that lovely slab of butter, which melts so nicely over the hot beef and dribbles out the sides of the sandwich. it's always accompanied by a bowl of their delicious chili, a wonderful combination of ground beef and beans, served over spaghetti. the onion rings and deep fried mushrooms are also delicious, always served hot and crispy.

although it's true that the food is loaded with fat and the decor is somewhat dated, we enjoy every minute of our visit to kroll's. maybe absence does make the heart grow fonder!

my favorite!!!. this is my absolute favorite restaurant, the number one reason i come to green bay! the hard roll on thekroll'sburger makes it the best burger i have ever had. it actually can't be beat! try their chocolate shake with the burger and fries, you won't regret it! i cannot recommend this restaurant any higher, it is as legendary, to me, as lambeau (located right across the street- convenient)!!!

overpriced and overhyped. if you want to spend $5 on a $1 hamburger, this is your place. the only thing positive is it's notkroll'seast. at least the west side has average customer service. east side is overpriced and service is horrible

don't tell my wife.. i don't get through green bay as much these days as i used to, but as far as i'm concernedkroll'swest is a required stop.
not at all flashy, but great food for the dollar. i may not admit it in polite company, but i always go for the butter burger with a side of chili/cheese fries.
this is a place for solid diner food with really friendly folks working the tables.
