sorry..... ....everybody seems to love the place, including my wife, but i've never had a good meal here. the burgers were way overdone and the chicken soup weak. just not a pleasant experience.

has gone down hill. cushion seats ripped and prices have gotten out of control. $10 for a nacho grande and it's chips with chili on top. will not go back.

excellent butter burger on a toasted hard roll. fries were crisp and tasty, too. don't let the negative reviews worry you. kroll' is a great place for burgers, fries, chili, and a nice cold brew.

seating bad. im a bigger guy and barley fit in any of the seats. how could even a packer plays eat there with a big group. i have to sit in front.

classic. so good! don't expect 5-star anything... unless you're really into grade-a buttery burgers. kroll's is comfortable, the drinks are good, and the food is a truly guilty pleasure that fits green bay perfectly. the best way to treat post-game hangover is with a bloody, a kroll's cheeseburger with everything (extra butter), and some curds and ranch. i think i'm drooling...

kroll's west is an institution with people who live in and visit green bay for packers games. i remember the first burger i had at kroll's west being better than the one i had on this visit.

12/10/13. stopped at kroll's west for a quick supper and it was our last trip there. 1st impression should have sent us away; there was puke by the front doors (left overs from the packer game?), the service was very poor with hardly any patrons in the place, took well over 15 minutes to get 3 items to eat and 2 of the items were incorrect, as we paid the bill and left, no one asked about our service or food. we don't expect the world but the customer service as a whole was extremely poor. we just paid and left with the intent of not having that on our place of stops for supper again.

cheap eats...not. found krolls under cheap places to eat. that is far from the truth. overpriced burger joint.

lunch. not a good trip for us. we are from out of state and had seen krools on the travel channel so wanted to try it. we will not be trying it again. service was very, very slow. the food was not very good the burger i ordered didn't even come with a plate. just rapped in paper like a fast food place but not as good. we have been here for over two weeks and this is the first place that disappointed us.

a return visit to an old favorite. as native cheeseheads, a trip to kroll's west is always on the agenda when we make a return visit to green bay.

we always opt for the original kroll's hamburger, a grilled hamburger patty served over a crispy hard roll, complete with ketchup, pickles, onions, and that lovely slab of butter, which melts so nicely over the hot beef and dribbles out the sides of the sandwich. it's always accompanied by a bowl of their delicious chili, a wonderful combination of ground beef and beans, served over spaghetti. the onion rings and deep fried mushrooms are also delicious, always served hot and crispy.

although it's true that the food is loaded with fat and the decor is somewhat dated, we enjoy every minute of our visit to kroll's. maybe absence does make the heart grow fonder!

my favorite!!!. this is my absolute favorite restaurant, the number one reason i come to green bay! the hard roll on the kroll's burger makes it the best burger i have ever had. it actually can't be beat! try their chocolate shake with the burger and fries, you won't regret it! i cannot recommend this restaurant any higher, it is as legendary, to me, as lambeau (located right across the street- convenient)!!!

overpriced for the most ordinary food. save your money, make your own hamburger and drench it in butter, save $5

lambaeu stop.. seems like when we are in the lambaeu field area we stop there. the food is ok, not really rave worthhy. i had the blue gill and was very thin pieces of fish. the atmosphere is fun though. round booths, press the button for services. kids loved it. kids meal didn't include drink which made their meal a bit pricy.

the food is good. it is solid. there is something special about this place that will always have me returning and out of town guests wanting to grab a burger or cheese curds.
