classic. so good! don't expect 5-star anything... unless you're really into grade-a buttery burgers. kroll's is comfortable, the drinks are good, and thefoodis a truly guilty pleasure that fits green bay perfectly. the best way to treat post-game hangover is with a bloody, a kroll's cheeseburger with everything (extra butter), and some curds and ranch. i think i'm drooling...

lunch. not a good trip for us. we are from out of state and had seen krools on the travel channel so wanted to try it. we will not be trying it again. service was very, very slow. thefoodwas not very good the burger i ordered didn't even come with a plate. just rapped in paper like a fastfoodplace but not as good. we have been here for over two weeks and this is the first place that disappointed us.

a return visit to an old favorite. as native cheeseheads, a trip to kroll's west is always on the agenda when we make a return visit to green bay.

we always opt for the original kroll's hamburger, a grilled hamburger patty served over a crispy hard roll, complete with ketchup, pickles, onions, and that lovely slab of butter, which melts so nicely over the hot beef and dribbles out the sides of the sandwich. it's always accompanied by a bowl of their delicious chili, a wonderful combination of ground beef and beans, served over spaghetti. the onion rings and deep fried mushrooms are also delicious, always served hot and crispy.

although it's true that thefoodis loaded with fat and the decor is somewhat dated, we enjoy every minute of our visit to kroll's. maybe absence does make the heart grow fonder!

overpriced. i know everybody loves this landmark, but i think it is just over pricedfoodthat is not very good!

lambaeu stop.. seems like when we are in the lambaeu field area we stop there. thefoodis ok, not really rave worthhy. i had the blue gill and was very thin pieces of fish. the atmosphere is fun though. round booths, press the button for services. kids loved it. kids meal didn't include drink which made their meal a bit pricy.

thefoodis good. it is solid. there is something special about this place that will always have me returning and out of town guests wanting to grab a burger or cheese curds.

cheap eats?.foodwas greasy and excellent! take a few anti-acids. just a short drunken stooper before/after packers game, but actually read the menu. family of 4 (kids 8 and 10) cost $84.00!!!! and that's with no alcohol. it's my fault, just fyi

a tradition. i've been eating at krolls in green bay for years as this place has been around forever. the burgers are great! this is a true hamburger joint - good inexpensivefoodand cold beer.

good. cheap. fast. but not a fastfoodjoint. best butter burgers around.

don't tell my wife.. i don't get through green bay as much these days as i used to, but as far as i'm concerned kroll's west is a required stop.
not at all flashy, but greatfoodfor the dollar. i may not admit it in polite company, but i always go for the butter burger with a side of chili/cheese fries.
this is a place for solid dinerfoodwith really friendly folks working the tables.
