kraft house no. 5 is one spot for brunch that i’m crazy about, but i don’t feel it gets enough love. with some unique takes on what can be a very generic meal, this spot won’t disappoint you. so plan a jaunt to powell, take in some shopping, and fill up with some tasty food and drink atkrafthouse.

the creators are michael and louie pappas, of the pappas family who owns tommy’s diner in franklinton ( milo’s and its catering arm are also one of their spots – it’s named for the two of them: michael + louie). the restaurant also picked up a lot of attention because the kitchen is led by all-star chef marcus meacham. marcus has appeared nationally on tv, and he made bodega in short north a destination for good food and drink. so it’s no surprise thatkrafthouse no. 5 is rocking out powell (and columbus) with lunch, dinne

lovekrafthouse 5. i've had lunch here twice in the past 2 weeks with large groups of ladies. tayler was our server both times. in addition to the food being excellent, we enjoyed wonderful service. will definitely be back!

as a former chef....i enjoyed this establishment. the food was delightful...seasoned well (which lets face it, is hard to come by in this city) and appropriately portioned. the menu is not too small. it's quite perfect actually. how about we stop thinking menus need to be books and just enjoy what the chefs idea of quality food is. if you are so pickly you need a cheesecake factory menu to find something to eat then go there or stay home and make your own food. i will go back to these establishment. keep up the good work. also the wait staff was very nice and attentive. much respectkrafthouse no. 5

good food, welcoming atmosphere. my husband and i stopped intokrafthouse no. 5 to escape the rain of the powell festival. we had our toddler with us and, despite the fact that the restaurant is more upscale than its predecessor (easy street cafe), the staff was completely welcoming - finding a spot for our stroller, grabbing a booster seat, etc. although there wasn't a kids' menu per se, we were able to wing it with the pork shank (tender enough for out little one to try), the burger (big enough to split), and garlic fries (my son ate them up!). my husband loved his beer and i tried the rose wine on tap...delicious. we'll probably get a babysitter for the next trip, but my first experience was positive. i'll definitely be back.
