keep up the good work!. the delivery boy was super attractive and nice and the food was great!

kimchi supplied me with two of my favorite things sushi and cute boys :d

very good!. just enjoyed my birthday lunch at kimchi. service was very good. sushi had such good flavour that i didn't use any soya sauce! the specialty roll "volcano" was amazing! catered to my two little children very nice also :d

kimchi has transformed a bland strip-mall space into a cozy retreat with dark colors and twinkling white lights hanging from the ceiling. this décor creates a great ambience and it seems that no details were missed; the space is outstanding.

great!. 2nd time going there yesterday, and i find that the food there is very well made. the staff was very friendly and patient, they even gave us a bit more time to decide what we wanted to eat. highly recommend. definitely going back!

the best sushi experience and service in winnipeg period. the owner is such a awesome guy, much respect dude!!! 5 out of 5!!!!

nothing really special~. - portion sizes are small! this can be good or bad, for me it was good, for my boyfriend bad lol
- no spicy sauce on the table, the spicy rolls/bibimbap was not very spicy to us...also they charge an extra $1.00 for fried egg
- the bulgogi was good, i felt it was a little low on the amount of bbq beef in it though
- we ordered one roll, it was just ok

for one roll, bibimbap and bulgogi + water it came to around $40. kind of pricey~ for that price i can get all you can eat korean + sushi and it's about the same taste wise. at least the service was really good! :)

this place is okay. their specialty rolls are similar to kenko but kenko is definitely better. their service is horrible the last few times i've been. we've waited mutiple times for our sushi and while our orders needed to be taken. i had to ask the chef to take our orders because the waitress didn't come out for half an hour to take it. overall sushi was typical in comparison to other places.

wish you well!. we enjoyed dinner here yesterday and were very pleased with the quality and flavor of the food. the sashimi and oysters were fresh and the xoxo special roll was inspired. my first time trying bibimpap and i was pleasantly surprised, especially the home made sauce. (that i was unable to get the recipe for!)
service was good and the owner was approachable and engaging.
i would like to suggest that there should be an effort made to reduce the msg however. we all suffered an msg hangover from the meal that lasted all night. this in itself would be a deterrent to return to an otherwise gem of a sushi find.

was mine and my bf's first time to eat here last friday. we were very impressed, everything we ordered was good. great service, best sushi in the city! i especially loved the oysters

the service by jamie was perfect and was complemented by superb cooking by two chefs who utilized time to make delicious dishes presented in a beautiful manner. the food has an unprecedented taste in winnipeg. the owner clearly prioritizes his customers over anything else. all in all it was a very positive experience and kimchi sushi is a place worth visiting.

try their specials!. my first time here was in april and their service was horrible. i had their specialty roll - i believe it was the xoxo roll and it was soooo good! my friends loved their dishes too.

the second time, i was a bit iffy about coming again because of my experience with the service but it improved a lot from the first time. my 2 friends and i actually got our orders at the same time haha. i tried the bento special.. the gangnam style roll x california roll x 2 salad sides x gyoza. the california roll was whatever.. i didn't enjoy it. the 2 salads were very tasty and refreshing. the gyoza was nothing special. my favourite would be the gangnam roll :) awesome.

i really love how they deliver too. i tried their volcano roll i believe.. so good. lol basically i recommend any thing that is specialty or their rice dishes!

great food. it was my 3rd time there, food came so fast yesterday, surprisingly good improvement. the korean short ribs was soo good, the server seem got better from the first time i went. they just opened not too long, so i give them chance and credit for improvement. esp it's in my area. overall pretty good, keep it up.

great food! great service!. we had a party of 12 on a saturday night and they normally do not take reservations. but they were very accomodating and so helpful! considering the number of people we had for dinner and the other patrons there, the wait was not long at all. everyone was so helpful to make our experience a good one! and the food was really good! because it's not in the downtown/osborne/corydon area, you may think the quality of food would be that of "fast food sushi". but it definitely met our expectaions with taste and presentation! the best part is; it's in our area!! we don't have to drive far for quality japanese and korean dishes. thanks for moving in, kimchi sushi!!
