going downhill. im so sad about this place :( i use to go here all the time. then they changed the menu to this emo-centric taste. please bring back fried not baked wings! if youre eating mac and cheese not worried about your waistline for this meal. also the salads. i ate there at least once a week. the salad use to rock with candied nuts and cranberries; now its beets!! i hate beets!!. my last three visits there ive walked away unhappy. they expanded and it really went downhill. sad to say, i doubt ill be back.

we waited for over 25 minutes, along with many others, to have brunch. there were many open, empty tables. when asked, the hostess said "our kitchen is small and backed up on orders so they told me not to seat anyone else for a while". we went across the street to blinkers, were seated immediately and had a delicous meal. note to keystone, don't have so many tables that you can't serve them all.

unfortunately, i had a very bad experience with the waitress and manager.  at lunchtime on a weekday my co-workers and i went at 11:30 am (early so we could get in and out) and we waited one hour and 5 minutes for our food (i didn't receive a refill of my drink during that wait either) which still never came so we left.  but, as we were getting up to leave the waitress (who never checked up on us) came over and said she thinks our food was coming and the computers broke down so that is why our food was late.  during this time, 3 tables of customers that arrived after us already had their food.  i'm guessing with the computer glich our order just got lost.  that part i don't have a problem with, things happen and i completely understand that.  but, there was no concern what so ever regarding us sitting there for over an hour.  our meter had expired (that's how i knew how long we had sat there).  never was asked if there was anything they could do.  the waitress said, "so are you not going to pay?" as we were leaving (and we were late returning to work and very hungry).  pay????? for our one drink, no refill?  the manager then comes over and asks if we want our food and also told us the computer broke down.  i saw the waitress write our food order down, i see the other tables receiving their food.  just be honest and say "i'm sorry, with the computer glitch we missed your order.  nope, we received nothing like that.  the manager then says, "i hope you will give us another chance in the future."  really????????  what reason have you given to us to make us want to give you another chance?  my co-workers and i completely understand that glitches happen but it's how it was handled that really angered us.  (well, that and the fact that we are all sitting at our desks super hungry now and eating candy to get through the afternoon.)  keystone seriously needs to work on the skills of their managers.  she should have come out as soon as the computer broke and made sure everyone was properly cared for.  i'm so very very disappointed.
also, i couldn't rate the food because i never received any food.

do hope they bring with them the half price mac & cheese offerings, named after different bands/singers,on monday evenings and the outdoor seating option. they also offer half price quesdilla selections on tuesday, but i do love, love, love macaroni and cheese and keystone has so many varieties, including some fabulous specials,

horrible. ok, not really. i just don't want everyone to find out how good it is. best bbq sauce anywhere. we buy extra whenever we're in town.

sundays at the keystone. we had a late lunch sunday at keystone. i've been there maybe twenty times for weekday lunches or happy hour drinks, but this was my first sunday trip. the food, as always, was very good. they have a full menu and i have tried most of it, but i keep coming back to their iceberg wedge salad because they have a very good blue cheese dressing. but it was a slow sunday afternoon, the weather was good, and sitting outside at keystone was a perfect way to spend it. sometime this summer i want to go early enough for their sunday brunch; i haven't tried it yet but i saw the menu and i'm putting it on my "to do" list.

burger place? mac and cheese? wraps, sliders? poutine! started with the poutine and brisket, ordered the standard burger and some beer.
very good, some say the wings are great too.

the mac and cheese is amazing! i love how it comes in its own individualized pan. very clever. it's nice and rich sauce. the only bad part? somehow it never seems to last very long 😉

had the fish and chips and classic dilla. they were okay but a bit high for what it was. the fish was good but lacked seasoning as well as the chicken in the dilla but the atmosphere and service was very friendly!

worst thing i have been served at a restaurant. i ordered the bb king which was supposed to be mac and cheese with bbq chicken and bacon. instead of bbq chicken, they mixed a ton of bbq sauce into the mac and cheese which made everything taste like bbq sauce. it was like eating a big bowl of greasy bbq sauce. there was only about a chicken nuggets worth of chicken and half of which was fat and skin. i ate about a third of it which was way too much, i feel like i'm going to throw up.

my friend ordered the bufflo chicken wrap which was more disappointing than disgusting. instead of breaded and fried chicken like is normally used, they used pulled chicken and mushed some sauce into it.

let me preface this by saying that i have always been a big fan of keystone until my most recent experience. eating on a budget, i loved their half price mac every monday. awesome mac & cheese and a water for $4-6 (plus tip). within the last six months, however, their mac monday has a catch that you have to buy a drink ($2.50 for a soda or tea). and my most recent experience included a 15 minute wait for our drink orders to be taken, and an order being requested before finding out about the new policy. their food is still delicious and if money and time are no objects, i can still give it a thumbs up. however, if you aren't planning on an hour and a half meal and you want the kind of deal that keystone used to offer, the era of great deals here is over.

decent sunday brunch. i have had some of their mac & cheese, which is pretty good. today i had their go-goetta skillet with hashbrowns instead of homefries. it tastes really good, and not diet friendly. lol my husband had their blueberry pancakes, which tasted good also.

bloody marys need work (too v8, need some zingzang) but the food and atmoshpere is great! mac and cheese dishes are yummy.

raw cookie dough dessert and bad service. pretty good entres but avoid the desserts. we we served raw cookie dough at the cost of $6.00 it was peanut butter however, we had ordered sugar cookie. when we questioned it they took 1/2 off. most restaurants would have comped it! don't be fooled by the 1/2 price happy hour wines. they don't show what the full price is so what you think is a good deal may not be. our experience stated off pretty good and went down hill fast. i'd love to see a locally owned business make it but unfortunately based on this experience i'd say this is not the one.
