wonderful atmosphere and food. you must go here and get the breakfast burrito with no bread. the bread is replaced with hashbrowns. get a couple eggs on top! unique and tasty!

i liked it, but.... i am not 100% sold on the place yet. i have been to keystone only once...it was a friday around 7:15p. the outside was pretty full so we went for a table inside. i like the setup inside....comfortable feeling, and a nice bar. we were waiting on 2 friends to join us still so we started off with some drinks. after i started drinking my beer i noticed that the glass was filthy with dried food crumbs. finally an employee came by the table so i could alert them and ask for a new glass. i guess i should have not been so generous asking for just a new glass, i really should have asked for a new beer....after all bell's 2 hearted isn't as cheap as a miller.
up until the point that our friends arrived we really didn't know who our server was because we had encountered 4 different people from the time we walked in the door. our appointed waitress was very friendly though so no qualms about that really.
i don't remember what everyone else had, but i opted for the powerhouse mac. wow, this was spicy! i really liked the mac, but i can't say that it was worth $11.50 - if they justify the price because it has steak and chicken in it, there really wasn't that much of it. it would be a great bargain on their 1/2 price mac mondays, but it's probably overpriced by $2 in my opinion.
given that our service was friendly, the taste of the food, the atmosphere, and the multiple taps of craft beer i would definitely return at some point. maybe next time they'll have a beer list available so i don't have to get up to look at the tap handles.

mac and cheese monday!. the gourmet mac and cheeses are 1/2 price on mondays...but i glad pay full price on any other day too. sooo yummy! i usually make my own, but the combos that they offer are all excellent. cannot wait for the hyde park location to open!

never again. while i did not wander into the keystone expecting fine dining, i did harbor an expectation that the food would rank somewhere above what i was served in a military chow hall during wartime. i now admit not only was i incorrect in my assumptions, but i would have gladly traded the mac and cheese of the day for refreshing bowl of cold, lumpy oatmeal.
boys and girls… the food at keystone is more akin to the creations concocted by drunken frat brothers attempting to dispel the "midnight munchies". a runny bbq sauce adorns everything from the mac and cheese to the quesada's, in a vain attempt to cover amateur preparation and kitchen skills, while greasy, semi-cooked bacon is a staple ingredient on burgers and the "world famous" mac and cheese.
the salads are adequate, but the prices for simple entrée's far exceed the product quality, or in my case 15 bucks for a "fish and chips" selection that closely resembled what one might expect from a fast-food kitchen.
the service was fair, and i was particularly impressed with the bartender who grimaced as she placed the mac and cheese special of the day in front of me and awaited my first bite, before volunteering to replace the culinary masterpiece with something more palatable.
visit the keystone at your own risk my friends.

reconsider. given enough alcohol the food here might be tolerable, however given the amount of raw gristle contained in a lackluster burger, and some mac and cheese medley that was suspended in bbq sauce with half cooked chicken, i can only surmise that one would need to down multiple shots prior to embarking on a culinary journey at this location.
on the up side, service was good, and the décor well considered, but that certainly does not excuse the poor cuisine.

this is one of my favorite places to go eat and grab a drink. it also has great patio seating on the corner of greenup. there is plenty of parking located at meters nearby, i think the street is park pl., but someone please correct me if i'm wrong on that one! i went a couple weeks ago with my husband and our friends anne and ryan. we snagged a great table outside just in time because they quickly filled up. we all ordered a drink and hung out for awhile as we looked over the menu. keystone has a pretty nice beer selection, they also have a nice happy hour too which includes half priced bottles of wine m-f. keystone has a couple items they are "known" for: mac n' cheese, a great brunch, and many different quesadillas. i have had their mac n' cheese before and it is awesome. they have many unique types and are all named after famous bands: a nirvana (chi

brunch tasted good but we had to wait way too long for what we ordered. food wasn't worth waiting an hour for. don't order the orange juice. it comes from out of the gun thing - not even close to fresh squeezed.

menu prices confusing. tuesday is supposed to be 1/2 price quesadillas. it was tasty, but they don't tell you that adding chicken or beef isn't half price and everything you add to it (side items is $.50-$1.50 more per item)! also, the side items aren't discounted. i'm sure i'm not the first to complain about the lack of information on the menu. the ladies behind the bar weren't much help as they just said "if you add extra items to a pizza it costs more". yes, but the menu tells you that. pretty disappointed...
