burger place? mac and cheese? wraps, sliders? poutine! started with the poutine and brisket, ordered the standard burger and some beer.

let me preface this by saying that i have always been a big fan of keystone until my most recent experience. eating on a budget, i loved their half price mac every monday. awesome mac & cheese and a water for $4-6 (plus tip). within the last six months, however, their mac monday has a catch that you have to buy a drink ($2.50 for a soda or tea). and my most recent experience included a 15 minute wait for our drink orders to be taken, and an order being requested before finding out about the new policy. their food is still delicious and if money and time are no objects, i can still give it a thumbs up. however, if you aren't planning on an hour and a half meal and you want the kind of deal that keystone used to offer, the era ofgreatdeals here is over.

love this place. they have wonderful half price mac and cheese nights, as well as quesadilla nights.greatplace pre and post football and baseball games. best brunch in town too

i liked it, but.... i am not 100% sold on the place yet. i have been to keystone only once...it was a friday around 7:15p. the outside was pretty full so we went for a table inside. i like the setup inside....comfortable feeling, and a nice bar. we were waiting on 2 friends to join us still so we started off with some drinks. after i started drinking my beer i noticed that the glass was filthy with dried food crumbs. finally an employee came by the table so i could alert them and ask for a new glass. i guess i should have not been so generous asking for just a new glass, i really should have asked for a new beer....after all bell's 2 hearted isn't as cheap as a miller.
up until the point that our friends arrived we really didn't know who our server was because we had encountered 4 different people from the time we walked in the door. our appointed waitress was very friendly though so no qualms about that really.
i don't remember what everyone else had, but i opted for the powerhouse mac. wow, this was spicy! i really liked the mac, but i can't say that it was worth $11.50 - if they justify the price because it has steak and chicken in it, there really wasn't that much of it. it would be agreatbargain on their 1/2 price mac mondays, but it's probably overpriced by $2 in my opinion.
given that our service was friendly, the taste of the food, the atmosphere, and the multiple taps of craft beer i would definitely return at some point. maybe next time they'll have a beer list available so i don't have to get up to look at the tap handles.

this is one of my favorite places to go eat and grab a drink. it also hasgreatpatio seating on the corner of greenup. there is plenty of parking located at meters nearby, i think the street is park pl., but someone please correct me if i'm wrong on that one! i went a couple weeks ago with my husband and our friends anne and ryan. we snagged agreattable outside just in time because they quickly filled up. we all ordered a drink and hung out for awhile as we looked over the menu. keystone has a pretty nice beer selection, they also have a nice happy hour too which includes half priced bottles of wine m-f. keystone has a couple items they are "known" for: mac n' cheese, agreatbrunch, and many different quesadillas. i have had their mac n' cheese before and it is awesome. they have many unique types and are all named after famous bands: a nirvana (chi

enjoyed. just went there for dinner tonight. it's freezing outside and i was craving sort of casual/american/comfort food type stuff and after much debate settled on keystone (i've also eaten there for brunch). it's good, casual food at a reasonable price point and we were happy. mark and i split an aj's? philly sandwich topped with cheese, roasted peppers, onions, mayo, and jalapenos (i love jalapenos!) and a build your own mac n cheese (bacon, tomatoes, and spinach). i justified ordering them since they both have veggies (that's healthy right?)

the philly sandwich was ridiculously overflowing in a good "yay so delicious can't wait to eat it" way. i'm not sure what kind of cheese it was, it tasted like it had a bit of heat although that might just be from the jalapenos on the sandwich itself. it was falling apart and oozing, and we fought over who got to eat what was left on the plate. the mac n cheese was just what i was looking for on a cold winter night, it had good flavor and texture. love the house barbecue sauce for the chips, it's agreatblend of sweet with a hint of spice.

my one criticism - i felt the drinks were a bit weak, not glaringly so, but it seemed like that were a tiny bit short on the pour. i didn't check to see if they free pour, have stop pours, or use jiggers so i'm not sure.

overall - the food definitely hit the spot and it was the kind of atmosphere i was looking for. the menu has enough of a selection to keep me interested (i like trying different menu items) and has that casual neighborhood bar type feel. perfect for a night when you just want good food and friendly surroundings. we'll be back.

friendly server with excellent beer knowledge. we got our food in about 10 minutes. some of the best mac & cheese i've ever had. his wings weregreattoo. so glad we tried this spot. also, nice mix of clientele...not super douchey, at least before 9.

excellent deals on mon and tues!. i love their reuben quesadilla. the presentation may not always be there, but the taste certainly is, and on tuesdays the quesadillas are half price. monday has their specialty macaroni and cheese dishes for half price. the sandwiches are ok, but the appetizers aregreatand they even have outside dining. if you're in the area i would recommend it.

mac 'n' cheese please. we went to keystone after going to powerhouse's open house and sampling their catered mac 'n' cheese, and they told us where to find it, keystone. wow! now, every time we go we try another style/flavor...greatlittle corner bar/grille!

love it! best brunch in the city!. not only does keystone have hands down the best brunch in the city, classic inn the wood potato crisps and bloody mary menu (and so much more)-they have a super cool happy hour vibe w/friendly staff,greatmicro-brew selection and an extensive wine list. the decor is awesome and the food is always consistentlygreatand timely. check out their half price mac and cheese mondays or half price quesadilla tuesdays. five drinks for five bucks on thursday is also nice. whoever programmed the jukebox, knows music. overall, agreatplace. i would recommend to anyone for brunch, lunch, dinner or cocktails!

great neighborhood place. stopped in over 4th of july weekend because it was recommended by a friend. i sat at the bar, ordered a reuben and bells oberon and watched the reds game in total enjoyment. the barteneder wasgreat(not to intrusive yet attentive), and i thought the reuben was way above average.

the place had a mellow vibe; seems like a neighborhood place where if i lived close by i'd stop in once a week to have a sandwich and a beer and just enjoy a nice meal....
