thisplaceis exceptional. had the vegetarian platter and kofte platter, both were excellent. large portions and a great value.

thisplacewas very tasty and one of few of it's type in the area. small place, better suited for lunch than dinner, i think. if i didn't want to drive to virginia beach for this cuisine then i'd go here.

what a great find!. i had heard of a turkishplacenear work but until this week haven't been able to get over here. fortunately i was having lunch with a different co-worker than i normally do and we ended up trying this gem out.

i ordered the iskender plate which is beef doner served on top of a chopped pita bread smothered with tomato sauce and a side of white rice. my co-worker had the chicken shish kebab plate which is 2 kebabs, white rice and a garden salad. the wait was about 10 minutes for our food to be prepared and we checked out the imported food items they had in their store.

once the food arrived it looked and smelled as delicious as it tasted. portions were perfect and the price was $10 each after including the drink. all in all a great meal and i'm looking forward to stopping in again soon and trying out some more of the menu.

yum!. absolutely delicious and legit. my husband and i were contractors overseas and while we may not miss many aspects of that, we did miss the food! thisplacetakes us back to wonderful memories and wonderful food! the hummus actually tastes like hummus, not the lemony crap that other so called arab restaurants serve. we are very pleased and will be back many times. the lady who works here was also very kind!

great service, very clean place. this is fresh good food but you need to know what you are ordering because if you are not use to trying different foods you might be shocked. i tried the med wrap, doner, chicken kabob, lentil soup, grape leaves and humus. i liked it all except for maybe the soup, but i'm not a big soup fan to start with. the humus was my favorite and i usually don't even like humus so that says a lot. i tried the ayran drink, it is totally different very salty yogurt drink, wasn't for me but i would definitely recommend thisplaceif you're looking to try something different!

so friendly. love thisplacethe staff is so friendly and the food is fresh and yummy. the kid's plates are very generous ( we had left overs). i took my 3 children there for lunch ( ages 7-10) and they chose it over all of the surrounding fast food places for a return visit.

quaint with delicious food. oh man, i found thisplacevia urbanspoon and stopped by for lunch one day. theplacewas empty but the food was so delicious and i felt like the service was very attentive. i'm a sucker for stuffed grapeleaves and theirs were delicious. i only lament that i couldn't try more food while i was there. when i have a chance to go back, i'll update my review with more detail on what i ate and how it tasted,

surprisingly good. found thisplacedoing a random web search and immediately ran out based on reviews here. it really holds up to all the kind words. the friendliest most welcoming service, small, simple yet delicious menu. the best humus i have ever had in a restaurant and a kabob platter like i have not seen since visiting antalya years ago. simply wonderful food.

yum!. i have been looking for a location like this in my area for some time. ones that i found were mostly not that great but thisplaceis very nice inside, the prices are fantastic!! and the food and staff are friendly and very good. the only thing i did not find here that i enjoy very much is a traditional flat bread which i have eaten at middle eastern establishments in many other places, especially northern virginia. my work friends liked it alot and we will most likely return!

outstanding.placeis very clean and comfortable, service is attentive and warm, prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. i took my wife and son there for a late dinner some weeks ago, and they've asked me to go there again several times since. my son loved the lentil soup and my wife can't stop talking about the iskender kebap. we will definitely stop by on our next trip to norfolk.
