i don't normally take the time to write a review but i feel this is necessary. thewineselection would be just okay of it were a run of the mill restaurant but for a place that sells itself as awinebar is far below par.
when asked for a dry, earthy, tanin heavywinethe waitress immediately recommended the most expensivewineon the menu. both of the wines served were dry but not at all earthy or heavy in tannins.
when food was ordered is was acceptably priced but very disappointing, it was quite bland. for $10 a plate by no means was the food bad but with so many other fantastic options nearby it's a bit unjustifiable.
the decor is unfortunately lacking as well, while there are a number of what i would describe as cheap features a representative example is a fake fireplace made of the same fake stone the interior walls are coated with
in summary this establishment is far overpriced for what you get and it's fairly cheap.
