try the basque flatbread!. it's pricey for what it is - 2 glasses of wine, 3 cheeses & 1 flatbread came to $80. however, the basque flatbread was delicious and wine choices limited, but good. don't bother with thecheeseplate.

loved it. finding the door can be tough, but worth it for this speakeasy!
'grilled'cheesesandwich beemster with garlic & mustard seed, prawn chips
'nuf said.
my one caution: order food one at a time. i ordered a 'starter' and a grilledcheesesandwich and both arrived at the same time. this is apparently normal. just order serially and you'll be fine.

one of my favorites. i love everything about this place. from the hidden back entrance, cozy velvety sofas, to the extensive wine lists and wonderfulcheeseplatters. this is how a wine bar should be. everytime we are in scottsdale this is always one of our destinations.
