i went during a week day and had their buffett lunch special for $10. there are enough choices for the price and the food was delicious. they had chicken, tofu, fish, and salads. theplacelooks clean, service was decent. i am looking forward to going again this week! the food is so tasty.....

went to thisplacefor a team lunch. we had the buffet here.the spread was quite balanced and good. they had salads, raita, kheer, batata vada, fish fry, chicken tandoori, dal, palak paneer, chicken tikka and egg plant.
the food was tasty with just the right spices. loved the batata vada, chicken tandoori and palak paneer. only complaint was that the chicken in chicken tikka was a bit undercooked.
theplacewas crowded which tells you that the food there is popular. but it does get cramped for space during peak hours.

thisplaceis perfect for relishing some amazing indian flavors. it serves one of the finest chicken dum biryani i have tasted in the city. also, they have a lunch buffet everyday which serves wide range of authentic indian cuisine. the ambience is awesome, service is quick and the menu is worth every single penny.

i became a fan for their crawfish popcorn. 
i tried the briyani and it was okay. usually i wouldplacea home delivery or take away.

earlier review. i meant to say, no matter what the ratings are, i don't recommend this place.

crowded, cram packed and noisy..food is good. came to visit liberty island from minneapolis. went to thisplaceafter reading the reviews. ambiance is poor, tables are cram packed with no space to move around. my dad tried to his jacket off, knocked down beer bottle on adjacent table. thank god it was empty. service was poor. servers are inattentive. took long toplacean order. it was just too noisy too. i felt the food was not bad though. i would not go there again for average food and poor service and noisy place. they included 15% gratuity in the final bill. i give a good tip all the time. but i felt that here they didn't earn the gratuity. overall, i recommend thisplaceno matter what the zagat and other critic's ratings are...

excellent buffet. found this restaurant using urban spoon and it delivered...succulent well-seasoned dishes...particularly the chicken tikki masala and the chick peas and potatoes. all the flavor you ever wanted from indian food with seasoning that is spot on. i'd come back here even if theplacewere a dump, which it isn't....far from it. located on washington st around 12th street in hoboken, this beautifully decorated yet simple restaurant is worth the detour to whatever other restaurant (indian or otherwise) you'd previously been considering.
