i have has the pleasure of eating at karen'sbakerycafe' several times over the past five months while attending classes nearby. everything i've experienced has been top-shelf, from the people to the hot morning coffee to the delicious lunch items. the one drawback to such a wonderful place is that it gets busy, really busy, at lunchtime. my most lunch experience included the ham and cheese panini, which is off the charts. outdoor seating is available, with a good mix of shady and sunny spots. i highly recommend karen's, and will be back as long as my class is held in folsom.
