after hearing a lot about this place we decided to have their famouspurisabji for breakfast. we ordered takeaway as the place did not have any proper seating. the quantity provided was much more than expected at the affordable price that they charge. the taste of whole was great but the sweet and salty aloo sabji was completely out of this world. a must try place.

definitely a to do place when in amritsar. specially for the vegetarians. the morning breakfast of the aloopuriis real nice. gives you a warm and happy feeling. reminiscence of the childhood days.

visited this place forpurichole. good place for a quick bite. really liked the food.puriwas served with tasty chole and potato curry. adding to the whole piece was glass of lassi with malai on the top.. overall good experience. we missed to grab halwa. heard halwa is pretty good at this place.

sunday breakfast at our fav kanha... junior kapur enjoying their big sizedpurivery much... aloo ki loonji,chhole wid lasssi... it was jampacked still service very prompt...

i ordered 3 platepurichhole, but got 5 puris, one less!!. i'm so annoyed.

i have memories with the food, with the place. “wohpuriki khushboo, launji aur choley aur woh thoda sa gur ka halwa” deadly punjabi breakfast combination. no match for their preparation ofpuricholey. please open an outlet in chandigarh too.

1. poori chola 😋
poori - as claimed by the shop, the whole wheat poori was fried in desi ghee and has distinct taste of ghee.
chola ( curry as accompaniment)- it has unique flavour with perfect balance of spices, was thick in gravy and not at all spicy.
aloo launji (curry as accompaniment) - it has distinct sweet and mild tangy taste with generous amount of methi seeds which doesn't give any bitterness to it.
pickle - mango, lemon and chilli pickle was served which taste like homemade pickles.

2. gud halwa 😋

it's made of semolina or suji and was overloaded with desi ghee or clarified butter. it had mild sweet, caramel taste of jaggery or gud

the bad part of this dish is they have added synthetic food colour and it's not purely made of jaggery. some part of refined sugar is also added.

*recommendations to the restaurants*

1. don't add artificial food colour to your dishes like gud halwa. they are unhealthy.

2. use only jaggery, don't add any sugar if you are selling your dish as gud halwa

3. use biodegradable disposable materials instead of plastic & styrofoam. coronavirus & climate change are happening due to these things. do your bit to save earth. you are a popular in amritsar. if you make the change, others will follow you.

4. keep healthy & vegan versions of your sweet which are made in date syrup, coconut/oats/almond/peanut milk

kanha sweets is very famous in amritsar they made pure desi ghee food they madepurichanna & aloo kulcha i ll go their to taste their kulchas the taste is awesome & very crispy kulchas totaly love this

in the holy land of amritsar, where the vibes of shri harmandir sahib are flowing throughout the air, this little spot is one which is truly blessed, and for some lip-smacking reasons too.
arrive here, and u will be guided to a little sitting area, so get in and get comfy.
don't ask for the menu, because u won't need it.
just say to the chap who zones to you eagerly,purichole!
sit back, pull ur stomach back inside tightly and release.. because u will want it to flex like arnold posing very soon!
when the dish arrives, its piping hot puri, with chole masala and a tangy potato....
start eating, and also praying to god that he helps you stop ordering more then u can swallow.....

amazing good taste specially aloo ki launzi andpuriwithout oil must try place far better than overly hyped and pricey places

bestpurishop in town. the puris are served with aloo ki sabzi known as longi and chole with seasonal achar. having it in breakfast with a big glass of lassi will make your day. don't forget to have it's gur da karah. super yummy.

best cholepurii have ever eaten , a must visit place in amritsar ,although we had to wait outside for our turn , it was worth it and their staff and service both were excellent
