kanha sweets is one of the many famous places in amritsar but the unique thing about the place is its gur halwa.

gur halwa is definitely one of the best sweets you will have in amritsar. prepared in desi ghee, the gur halwa is best suited for those who have a sweet tooth but are hesitant is consuming a lot of sugar.

the ambiance of the place is not reallygoodbut it's definitely worth a try.

visited this place for puri chole.goodplace for a quick bite. really liked the food. puri was served with tasty chole and potato curry. adding to the whole piece was glass of lassi with malai on the top.. overallgoodexperience. we missed to grab halwa. heard halwa is prettygoodat this place.

awesome place for somegooddesi ghee wale puffed and super lite poories with chole and to add on with it was khatti mithi alu ki launji..
they have somegoodsweets too like dry fruit laddu and moong dal halwa something which we can bring back home .

sometime ago i had tasted their poori chole(chickpea),lassi and gur ka halwa. they serve 2 large sized poori and unlimited chole made from desi ghee and a sweet tangy potato curry. the lassi was also up to the mark as it was chilled and consist of a thick layer of malai(cream). gur ka halwa was also very delicious it was loaded with dry fruit. they have a welll managed and agoodsitting area inside. so overall a perfect place for having poori.

totally loved the food. lassi was verygoodespecially- not too sweet like other places andgoodquantity. poori chole was amazing. the place is so full all the time so you would probably have to wait.

excellent choley sabzi which they serve with poori and sweet aloo subzi. choley were toogoodwith the poori. pricing is little bit higher for an extra poori i believe otherwise taste is damngoodhere.

we had a food trail in amritsar and this is a must visit place!!! do not miss this!
staff is very friendly and i spoke to people in charge of making pooris and they were very nice to answer my questions.

when you roam around in amritsar, some of the most awesome food serving places aren’t fancy in ambience at all! but they serve the most delicious food! so let’s not focus on ambience.. it’s just a basic restaurant!

must have: lassi - second best we had in amritsar (gaadhi lassi) beautifully sweet and nice to savor!

chole puri- extremely puffed up pooris andgoodtaste of chole! the best one i loved was aloo sabji - perfectly sweet and tangy in each bite! oh i wish i knew how to make it every single day 😋!

halwa- extremely ghee drowning sweetness, no other noticeable taste! didn’t enjoy much!

unarguably the best breakfast in the world. poori which are double fried and made of peethi(dal) and sweet potato sabzi with salted chana sabzi. best is their salad which tangy and sour carrots(soaked for days in tangy water) to make it yummeir. for me no breakfast in world can beat this

must try their yummy lassi and halwa 

no one can beat their gur ka halwa which is a speciality in winters, their sweets aregoodtoo but you can find better sweets but kanha is known for their breakfast which is bestest
