awesome. i was a little nervous trying this place after reading recent reviews, but i was very impressed. sam, our server, was attentive and funny. the food was great. i got the midtown match-up with a spinach salad and a diablo pollo sandwich.
i'll definitely go back. it was so frickin' tasty.

been here for lunch but not dinner until tonight. had the chicago dog and a milkshake. great atmosphere and service. will be back soon.

did not live up to my expectations. so many of my friends have gone there and loved it so i finally talked the family into trying it. we ordered and where suprised to get fish and chips and a salmon burger that looked and tasted as though they came out of the frozen food section at the grocery store. salmon was supposed to have capers and aoli if i remember correctly and it had neither. the sweet potato fries were good but nothing special. there were only four other tables full at this time but the service was really slow as the waiters were all standing around talking and not really paying much attention to the customers. the brown cow was great but we were told they were out of vanilla and strawberry ice cream so we couldn't get what we ordered. :? i think it will be a long while before we go back.

nope...not again. went there with the wife, she had juicy lucy and i had the fish and chips. her burger was okay, overcooked and what happened to the cheese? the sweet potatoe fries where not that good either. the fish's batter was soggy as were the chips, not very good for plan ol fries. not worth the price or the gas to get there.

burned burger, but pricey!. my bison burger was overcooked to the point of being burnt. burger & a coke were $13.00. interesting place with pleasant staff, but my meal was not good and seemed very overpriced.

kara. kaiser's is sooooo soooo gooood ..lol..i've been there a few times for lunch. everything i've had was delicious!:)

ice cream-amazing but nothing light at this restraunt.. the best homemade ice cream with very cool flavors changing daily (think blueberry and pomegranate), then this place can't be beat! and the soda fountain atmosphere is a tribute to days gone by.
however all of the food is pretty heavy on the cheese, cream, and grease, even the salads. not a place to go if you are hoping to eat light. their kids selections were unconventional enough (grilled cheese had very sharp cheddar) to make my four year old turn his nose.

i may have ordered poorly..... i voted that i do not like this place, but clearly i'm in the minority. based on the great reviews and that this place is always packed, i'm keeping an open mind may go back for a second try.

we went at lunch. every table was full, which i take as an encouraging sign. we ordered at the register, and then were instructed to find a table. this system probably works well when the place isn't full, but we ended up standing up by the door. our food came out very quickly (a plus!) but we did not have a table when it came out. the staff handled this very well, and made a place for us at the counter.

the other patrons, however, were rude. the place is small, so it was obvious that we needed a place to sit. two tables were sitting, clearly finished with their meals, just talking. eventually we weren't the only people looking for a table, and those people continued to just sit. this is not the fault of the restaurant, but it did affect my experience.

so the bison burger and sweet potato fries. the burger was very, very dry. as in nearly inedible. the sweet potato fries were average.

my dining partner ordered a regular burger, and he really enjoyed his. he has discerning tastes so i am inclined to think i just got unlucky.

as i looked around the restaurant, the ice cream treats looked really tasty. if/when i go back, i will be ordering something sweet.

there are three foods i love above all others: soups, cheeses and milkshakes. finding a restaurant that excels at just one makes me happy. finding all three in one place seems too good to be true. put that restaurant close to my office, and we have a serious, diet-busting problem.

i love it. i eat at here at least once a week. the food is great the portions are perfect and the atmosphere is comfortable. everyone that works here is friendly and attentive. if you don't want to spend more than $5 bucks for lunch go to mcdonald's!

don't eat here !!!!. over priced , small portions , won't last six months . diner beware !!!

very good!! went for dinner with 10 people, a little tight, but food was great! will for sure be going back!!

not good !. went in for lunch @ 1:45pm today with my wife and daughter. not really greeted! placed our order sat down! i ordered the juicy lucy burger with gorgonzola and mac n cheese as side. no cheese in the middle of my burger and my mac n cheese was like elbow mac cereal, luke warm and floating in a 1/3 cup of mild watered down. my wife ordered the rueben sandwich, maybe a tablespoon of kraut on it and asked the waitress for some thousand island dressing(which is normally on a reuben) and she was told they didn't have any? 7 salads and 7 burgers on the menu and you don't have any 1000 island in the house. my daughter had the kids grilled cheese and the bread was burnt that she didn't touch it. never approached by any waiter after our initial question about sauce. the manager, or who i believe the manager on duty was ( female with short spiked hair, multicolor frock) seemed to be texting or trying to get a hold of someone on her cell phone most of the time even when we where leaving, nothing! standing behind the counter by the kitchen. no one said thanks for coming in, have a nice day, nothing! wanted to tell them how bad the experience was, but figured it wasn't worth. very bad first impression. definitely wont be back ! won't last six months ! too bad, noticed they catered,as i have quite a few lunches with some of the physicians at st. anthony and thought this would be an easy go to for catering ! not now !

mediocre...i got the juicy lucy and it was not juicy at all. the burger was rather dry and the gorgonzola cheese was barely there. the overall taste of the burger was just okay. however, their sweet potato fries are extremely good they are sweet and salty. the ice cream nirvana was very good as well. brownie, fudge and a raspberry sauce...well it's pure deliciousness! overall i would probably give them another chance to redeem the burger and i would recommend trying this place at least once
