kabuto japanese steakhouse and sushi bar

good but....... i enjoyed our meal at kabuto, to an extent. the kids were entertained for the most part and the chef tried to make it fun (he could have done better.) the food was pretty good but at the end of the experience, felt it was really overpriced. it was crowded and theserviceleft much to be desired. i love japanese food but prefer elsewhere, especially for that kind of money. better bet: bonsai on bridford parkway. no chef at the table, but you get the same food for about 1/3 of the price.serviceis excellent. hostess is nice and prompt. we'll stick w/that!

our trip to kabuto was pretty good. we had excellentserviceand the volcano roll was delicious. the bananas are a good dessert for the end, and we enjoy them.

terrible. it was terrible the waiter saidservicewas poor because they were short in kitchen we had to find drinks and serve ourself they had no probably charging 18% gratuity for theservicethey didn't provide. i will never come back

friendly and attentive staff, good food.. we visited kabuto a few weeks back for hibachi and sushi after a day of rambling around guilford county. we ordered a terminator roll and two pieces of hamachi. the hamachi was very clean and fresh tasting. the roll was very well done. the rice was perfect and the integrity of the roll was top notch.
our chef comes out to a table of uninterested tweens, their folks, and my wife and i. he did everything he could to get the kids interested in what he was doing, but didn't seem to have much luck. just the same, the food we had was good.
our steaks were cooked perfectly, we never had our glasses go less than half full, and it was an enjoyable evening. there are other options in greensboro where the prices may be lower, but i haven't experienced the sameserviceas i did here.
