friend tells that the wraps at aplacecalled kebab corner on greams road is too good. find thisplacein a small lane adjacent to fruit shop on greams road and tibbs frankie. the sight of the shop is so tempting with its open kitchen.

i ordered a paneer tikka roll . asked if i can get a wheat wrap instead of the usual maida one. but wasn't available so went with the maida wrap itself.

cost was 110 bucks. the roll is sufficient for a person with a small appetite. felt the panner wasn't too fresh. but the taste was good . will go on another occasion and update more

ambience: to start off with the ambience, there was not much space to accommodate many inside the little shop. there was no seating inside. we can only stand and have the food. the shop was quite hard to find in the famous greams road. inside a tiny street, lies this kabab corner. everything they prepare will be right in front of you. right from taking the marinated chicken to outcome.

food: thisplacewas recommended to me by my friend as one of the tastiest kababplacein the town. yes, it surely lived upto its name. this is the tastiest kababplacei have ever tasted. i tried only one dish to be honest, but that was enough for me to suggest someone the best kababplacein town. we tried special chicken malai kabab from the house. few marinated chicken roasted under charcoal fire for a few minutes. some white liquid was spread all over the kababs. i think it was liquid mayonnaise but i am not sure. cheese were spread above everything. the food was damn tasty. trust me, you have to try this!

prices: to someone who thought this might be under your budget, i doubt that. we were surprised to see the menu which had prices of items par our budget money. every kabab out there was more than rs. 170 and whatever was in special was above rs. 220. what we tried came in the price of latter. but if you are in a mood to try the tastiest kabab, you will not be seeing the money which is in front of you.

service: you can't expect much of a service in aplacewhich had no seatings. its the same. everyone were lousy in their way.

food : 4.5/5
ambience : 2/5

overall : 4/5

hell yeah, this is a goodplacefor kababs. the way they prepare and serve seems professional. taste wise i would say it's better than most other kebab centres in chennai. we tried spl afghani tikka which was awesome and other items were okish to me. definitely worth a try, order from the spl category. check out the pics.

ohhh thisplaceis what i called heaven. a meat lover's paradise! it isn't a sit downplacewith fancy cutlery (or any cutlery for that matter). it's just a cozy little joint with a large display of kababs and a strong whiff of all kinds of masalas.

be prepared to get your fingers dirty. it's...

this review was long pending, after reading several reviews my foodie partner in crime and i visited this place, the ambience was very modest and had a classic old makeshiftplacemodernised sort of a way. the way the kebabs were being made was interesting to watch, but the use of bare hands to make the kebab is the reason i rated thisplacea 4.5 when my malai chicken kebab came to the plating section i was not too impressed, then the staff poured a creamy white fluid on the kebab which increased my curiosity, then he grated a generous amount of cheese on it. by then i was about to pop the lid with anxiety.. and when i pierced the soft kebab with the wedge/stick and placed it in my mouth and scooped some of the creamy malai into my mouth i had what one could call as a foodgasm :) umummm.... and the rest of the woes of the world could wait till i finished the last bit of trace of of my plate.

highly rated in zomato necessarily doesnt translate to the best :)

kabab corner is located on greams road opposite to royal enfield showroom. you will find a small lane and 2 shops ( one is kabab corner and other a perfume shop).

parking - you will have to park bang on greams road

ambience - its a street food shop. the ones you might find on congested streets of delhi. one gentleman at counter and 4 guys working on the food. one tv blaring hindi songs of 90s.
its more of a takeaway joint. if you prefer to eat there, you gotta stand and eat or sit somewhere on nearby platform.

food - menu is primarily chicken and veal. and its fairly elaborate

1. now you will find meat dipped in various colors (red, green, yellow, orange) right in front of you. (see the snap uploaded in zomato)
based on your order, they will grill on a skewer and give you on a silver coated paper or roll it inside a romali roti. the staff will use their hand and put some beetroot, onions on the side.
(  i am not sure if kitchen in most restaurants look and work this way, but if you are sensitive to these dont step in)

2. dont expect cutlery, we managed with our hands and tooth pick.

we ordered the special angaara chicken tikka @ 130
and surthi tikka roll@ 145.

these were just ok. nothing out of ordinary.

prices are decent.

finally
1. if you are looking for family outing /cosy dinner - wrong place
2. if you have friends who cant stand staff using hand / want to sit and eat comfortably - wrong place
3. if you are bachelor running to catch a bus and wanna eat a roll - right place
4. if you have seen ratings and still wanna check thisplace- rightplacefor takeway

if you love kebabs, you love meat and you love spice, try this place, you won't regret it!this smallplaceon greams roads serves some large options that are so tempting, you will end up with a plate of everything in the menu! and at the rates at which the dishes are priced, you won't feel that much of a pinch either!try the veal kebabs, amazing tender chunks of veal, marinated with some serious spice and grilled over charcoal, by far the best meat kebab i have had here! the veal murtaba is also an amazing option if you are looking for a quick and filling meal. it is a paratha stuffed (seriously stuffed!) with veal masala and fried in egg (droollll). the murtaba is cut into 4 pieces and also works well as a snack to share. the omlettes are also all to die for! just head to the place, take a pic and eat your heart out.

best kababs in town!
kabab corner is located in a tiny street opposite royal enfield showroom on greams road. it’s a smallplacewith no seating facility. but you’ll find it crowded, especially on weekends. service is quick, price quite reasonable and taste is on another level!
my top recommendations from this place:
💥malai veal - bits of tender beef topped with whipped cream and grated cheese
💥sheekh kabab & kabab roll
💥 chicken tikka
💥 chicken omlette
basically, everything here is tasty. you won’t be disappointed, trust me. and you’ll probably end up ordering more than you need because you’ll be tempted to when watching the staffplacethe kababs on the charcoal grill. it’s mouth watering to just stand there and watch your kababs being prepared.
even though you get your order straight from the grill, the food isn’t hot. idk why. i wish they’d do something to ensure the food is hot.

"beware of cheaters". been a regular visitor here for the longest time. so visited thisplacetonight and handed the cashier the cash and placed the order. when he returned the change i noticed that one of the currency notes was completely torn and was placed back together with a cellophane tape. i showed him the same and asked him for another note. he kept it inside and gave me another one which was torn as well. i showed him and asked him to give me another one since it won't be accepted anywhere else. he closed the cash register and told me "if i get notes like that what am i supposed to do?". i asked him the same thing. then he blatantly refused to give the cash back and told me to use my credit card. i told him i'm not going to use a card and i want the change for the money i paid. i told him give me back my currency note, i'll give you a torn one then i'll accept yours. after which he either told me to accept the torn note or give back the bill and get my money back. sad to see that places with good food like this are run by people who don't know how to talk to customers. these people are going to lose their regular customers if this keeps repeating to everyone.

tried thisplacelast week. the first impression of thisplacewas not good because of its shabby environment. there are a lot of varieties of kebabs and are good too. but i feel all the items are overpriced considering the amenities available in there. there is no proper seating or awaiting place. for this price, we could get similar type of kebabs elsewhere along with better ambience.

tandoori on the go! i've been to thisplacemultiple times. the rolls are worth it! the ambience is average so its better to parcel food here. best dishes i've had here are malai chicken and achari chicken. the taste is very different and really good. they add-on a lot of their sauces which makes it really gooey and appetizing .

taste -4/5
ambience -2/5
value for money - 4/5

located in one of the dingy side lanes of greams road, thisplaceis easy to miss. they serve some really amazing rolls and kebabs at very reasonable prices.

there is no seating space so its better to get takeaway or else stand and eat. nothing much to the ambience as its just a very normal setting.

we ordered the veal fry roll and the chicken tikka kebabs. lipsmacking dishes! but must mention that there was a lot of oil in both the dishes and its definitely not an healthy option. its okay for a once in a while indulgence though.

overall really tasty kebabs at very affordable prices.
