kabab corner

friend tells that the wraps at a place called kebab corner on greams road is too good. find this place in a small lane adjacent to fruit shop on greams road and tibbs frankie. the sight of the shop is so tempting with its open kitchen.

i ordered a paneer tikka roll . asked if i can get a wheat wrap instead of the usual maida one. but wasn't available so went with the maida wrap itself.

cost was 110 bucks. the roll is sufficient for a person with a small appetite. felt the panner wasn't too fresh. but the taste wasgood. will go on another occasion and update more

kababs aregoodbut very expensive...i mean 200 bucks for 6 small pieces...damn expensive...chicken seek kabab was dry..rest all were good...only if they decrease their prices then i am sure no one can even match this restaurant in chennai in terms of kababs and tikkas.

dint give ambience rating as this is not a restaurant and it's just standup food joint majorly for takeaway.

this is my goto place for many years, very pocket friendly with some fab dishes. close eyes and pick anything from nonveg menu, you will be amazed with pack of deliciousness.
my favourites are spl chicken malai kebeb, chicken omelette and malai tikka
worth visiting any number of times, one place you getgoodfood till 11 pm in & around greens road

truly a kabab cave, meant for relishing & satiating your taste buds. they prefer you take away your order rather than add on to the crowd :d.

forget the ambience & be prepared to gulp down the k' standing in a not so hygienic setup. order to your heart's wish & enjoy each delicacy. chicken is usually not a preferred ingredient for kebabs, at max it fits tikka category reason being the meat fat' absence. so those can be skipped as they would dry up your mouth. veel rolls & other prep aregoodto have.

a hearty meal won't pinch you for more than 350

hell yeah, this is agoodplace for kababs. the way they prepare and serve seems professional. taste wise i would say it's better than most other kebab centres in chennai. we tried spl afghani tikka which was awesome and other items were okish to me. definitely worth a try, order from the spl category. check out the pics.

"beware of cheaters". been a regular visitor here for the longest time. so visited this place tonight and handed the cashier the cash and placed the order. when he returned the change i noticed that one of the currency notes was completely torn and was placed back together with a cellophane tape. i showed him the same and asked him for another note. he kept it inside and gave me another one which was torn as well. i showed him and asked him to give me another one since it won't be accepted anywhere else. he closed the cash register and told me "if i get notes like that what am i supposed to do?". i asked him the same thing. then he blatantly refused to give the cash back and told me to use my credit card. i told him i'm not going to use a card and i want the change for the money i paid. i told him give me back my currency note, i'll give you a torn one then i'll accept yours. after which he either told me to accept the torn note or give back the bill and get my money back. sad to see that places withgoodfood like this are run by people who don't know how to talk to customers. these people are going to lose their regular customers if this keeps repeating to everyone.

located in the sidelines of greams road easy to miss but we can't miss the crowd in the food joint....

open kitchen helps us to see how our order is cooked but lack of seating facility and heat emitted from the kitchen make's it difficult to dine...

they have a huge variety of kebabs and roll's and it is quitegoodand they serve veal kebab which are rare in the city..

pricing is high for a small eatout it was worth earlier but slight decline in quality tipped the equilibrium...

tried this place last week. the first impression of this place was notgoodbecause of its shabby environment. there are a lot of varieties of kebabs and aregoodtoo. but i feel all the items are overpriced considering the amenities available in there. there is no proper seating or awaiting place. for this price, we could get similar type of kebabs elsewhere along with better ambience.

been there last night.. one of the places from the bucket list.. cost were nominal.. huge variety of kebabs.. they have chicken, veg and beef kebabs.. we tried achari chicken tikka, veal kebab and chicken sheek..
achari tikka was very tasty.. perfect level of spice and that flavour of tanginess was very good.. worth for ₹190.
veal kebab looked good.. i dnt eat beef so not much idea about that..
chicken sheek was also nice.. this is my first trying a sheek kebab and turned out to be agoodchoice.. i wouldn't say i loved it.. but then it was good.. the total price was 485.. they even have romali rotti ₹30 which was very thin roti.. will try rolls next time.. i would give 3.5 to this place..

kabab lovers this is the right place to go to, but it’s a small shop generally crowded so it’s better to take away!

amazing place to grab a bite or for takeaways. the place is small but the taste is sogoodthat we can't resist going there even in traffic. the only shortcomings is the parking and the dining setup. you can stand and have your kebabs or as a takeaway. but i recommend this place for anyone coming to chennai for the sake of food. (because i do)

good place for a quick bite of authentic kababs. the rolls aregoodtoo. best part is they have so many varieties to try from and does not have only the usual kabab menu. price is decent for the quantity they give. there is not much place to sit and dine as it is a very small shop. hence be prepared to stand and hog the meat. hope they expand the space a little bit in the coming days.
