best family owned restaurant in town!!!. if you want a good meal go to juliano's, i've been going here for years and haven't had a bad meal. oh and the wings?? wow!!! teriyaki wings are the best in my book. i know they're not a wing house but, love'em.. no place can come close to the food andservicehere. if you haven't tried this place make the effort and stop in!!! you won't be disappointed..

family enviroment. my lady and i went there on a saturday night because i have heard good things. just a forewarning, this is not a quiet little italian bistro... it's loud, full of noisy kids and large families. we were seated next to the fountain drink machine. my silverware was kind of dirty. i guess i was expecting something with a little more comfortable environment. overall the food andservicewere good, just far from classy or romantic.

good tasting italian food. juliano's may not be the fanciest restaurant in town and certainly not considered an upscale eatery; however, if you want good old fashionedservicewith a smile . . . and a consistently good italian spaghetti sauce this is the place to go. a very down home atmosphere with reasonable prices for savory italian food . . . their pizza is excellent as well. i highly recommend this family establishment to anyone who has a taste for italiano foodie :-) . . . don't change a thing mr. juliano!

the food isn't good. the pizza toppings are very expensive. the restaurant is old & horribly outdated. the bathrooms are gross. theserviceisn't good. so how on earth does this place have such great reviews? oh right, they're all fake glowing reviews from people who have only ever left one review - for juliano's. hopefully it's obvious to most people what's going on here.

this was our third time dining in at this place and let me tell you third time is not the charm. the dining room still smells like feet. the bathrooms were not as clean as they should be. which really made me and my family mad because there are only two bathrooms and they were discusting. the tiles were outdated and you could literally see the dirt and grime in the grout. ourservicehad been fine up until this time when we got a short old blonde lady who was rude and inconsiderate to our feelings as customers. the restaurant is supposed to have an italian/family feel to it but it mainly just felt like a tacky pizza shop with horrible outdated italian music. the music supposed to be in the background but is so loud you have to almost scream to talk across the tiny tables. the same songs came on two or three times in our 45 minutes of being in this disgusting, old, dry rotting dining room. the waitress was so rude and wanted to sit around the dining room instead of take the time to make sure we were taken care of as paying customers. the food was below average and way over priced. if the owner spent half of the money on food quality as he does on giving people free fried dough and gift cards then this would be the best restaurant in the nation no doubt. the only reason i know of this is because the first time we went he was walking around the dining room all night annoying customers until finally he gave the entire dining room orders of free fried dough. then after we were trying to check out, in the front because it is set up like a mcdonald's instead of a real restaurant, the three groups that were infront of us had gotten $10 gift cards for no other reason but the food taking too long.

amazing food, treated us like family. we came in town for a hockey tournament and they went above and beyond to accommodate our team of 30. the food was absolutely amazing. theservicewas impeccable. they treated us like family. thanks so much for making our last night in pittsburgh amazing. a must if you are in the area or worth the drive if not.

my italian family fights over juliano's leftovers!!!. once again, juliano's did not disappoint when we had our daughter's christening reception there in september (also had our son's there in 2010) the staff was prompt and friendly, the food was hot and delicious, and my family was fighting over leftovers...my dad got first dibs! going tonight for there all-you-can-eat pasta with my aunt from new jersey who always has dinner at juliano's when she is in town-and am sure we will not be disappointed! considering we are italian and take our food very seriously, we highly recommend juliano's for authentic italian cuisine, whether it be for catering or just dinner with familia!

great place for party!!. i had my son's baptism celebration there 4 years ago and it was so good (my italian relatives were fighting over who got to take home leftovers) that we have decided to have our daughter's baptism celebration there too....will keep you posted if it was the same great food andserviceas the first time!

was there for dinner yesterday was very disappointed they raised there prices sky high, and theservicewas slow, my dad got manicotti he said it was very salty, i got gnocchi the sauce was bitter, my mom got 2 slices of pizzas she waited forever for her pizza while we were already eating dinner. haven't been there for a while and i think it will be along time before we go back.

get sicilian style pizza. sicilian pizza is very soft, doughy, with great sauce. almost seems to melts in your mouth. you have to try it. great pizza, calzones, pasta; you can't go wrong. greatserviceand friendly, cool environment. i am from south carolina, and the south doesn't have pizza on the level of up north. i ate at julianos this saturday, and i can't stress enough how delicious it is. thanks guys!

a visit from fl. my wife and i look forward to going to juliano's each time we visit from fl. their pizza is one of the best we have had in our travels. theserviceis friendly and great, the pizza is awesome. i called the complaint line just to tell nick how great everything was, i think it was a pleasant surprise for him. we're heading for ny at the end of the week, where the pizza is pretty good, but we'll be back in pittsburgh in august and back to juliano's. if you haven't tried juliano's, do yourself a favor and try it, you'll be happy you did!

$30 for a cold 1/2 italian with 2 slices of lunchmeat, 1/2 steak with barely any steak, and 20 "decent" wings. the pizza is usually a staple, but very disappointed in our most recent order...

edit: the owner, nick, took the time out to call and make this situation right. thank you for responding to the review and reaching out to right the situation, i can appreciate that! we have ordered a handful of times after this and the food andservicehas been top-notch like we remember. thanks for being an attentive business!

don't waste your time. theservicewas great but the food is expensive and bland! go to girasoles restaurant in shadyside for real italian food!

old fashioned little place. staff was very friendly. owner or manager took care of us at the register- seems very involved with his team. food was good.servicewas fast. we all gave it a solid b rating.

awesome. one of the best italian joints in pittsburgh. great food, awesomeserviceand reasonably priced. the only negative is the 1.50 delivery charge but i can live with that. this is one of my favorite restaurants.
