best food in pittsburgh. juliano's hands down, has some of the best food, service, and atomosphere in pittsburgh. i have tried a majority of things on the menu and loved them all. the wings are my favorite and thepizzacould not be better. you could order anything on the menu and be satisfied. i would highly recommend juliano's to anyone looking for excellent food and a great night out!

this place rocks!!!. i love everything about this place. the food is excellent, especially the mild wings. i could probably eat about 50 of them because they just taste that good. theirpizzais the best around! when i'm looking for a place to go for dinner, i know where to go to get the best, juliano's.

great catering!. juliano's just catered my daughter's first communion gathering at our home and it was delicious. i highly recomment the chicken romano as it was so tender and moist. the pasta julianos is fantastic and you will not be disappointed. my daughter wanted the traditionalpizzaand we all enjoyed it. the delivery driver was right on time and all the food was hot. great job!

good tasting italian food. juliano's may not be the fanciest restaurant in town and certainly not considered an upscale eatery; however, if you want good old fashioned service with a smile . . . and a consistently good italian spaghetti sauce this is the place to go. a very down home atmosphere with reasonable prices for savory italian food . . . theirpizzais excellent as well. i highly recommend this family establishment to anyone who has a taste for italiano foodie :-) . . . don't change a thing mr. juliano!

delicious!. simply the bestpizzaand wings around. i can go there and order anything from the menu and enjoy it and that is probably the only place where i can do that. i will continue to go there with my family because the atmosphere is great and it is imposible to have a bad time. the staff is always really nice, and thepizzaguys to a reallllly great job. thank you nick and staff for the great experience.

before i comment on the lunch buffet from my visit yesterday i want to say i have been to this restaurant a lot over the years and the pizza, especially the sicilian and the panpizzahave been very good. the regularpizzais good, too. good enough that i would eat their more than a few times.
the lunch buffet of the 30th though fell way below the standards in regards to the food i have had before.
thepizzaselection was very limited. one of the pizzas had cucumbers and tomatoes on it! if you wanted a red saucepizzayou were out of luck. the hoagies were very well done and the pasta just seemed like it sat out too long.  i was there an hour talking with friends and the other pizzas that came out had tons of olives, hot peppers and white pizzas. i was hoping for a good old fashioned pepperoni pie and that never happened.
i would caution anyone from choosing the buffet. you are better off ordering apizzathat you want from there.

have been here many times in the past. the food typically has been good. i had the lunch buffet with my family and was disappointed. the hoagies were dry. i had to beg for apizzawith red sauce on it to be put out. they had veggie pizzas and other odd varieties instead. the pasta was bland. there just was not much to pick from. when we left one of my family members said they were still hungry. that should never happen. i will chalk this up as a lesson learned and not go there anymore.

the food isn't good. thepizzatoppings are very expensive. the restaurant is old & horribly outdated. the bathrooms are gross. the service isn't good. so how on earth does this place have such great reviews? oh right, they're all fake glowing reviews from people who have only ever left one review - for juliano's. hopefully it's obvious to most people what's going on here.

wonderful restaurant. excellent food and service. friendly and courteous managers.pizzawas amazing. we got the julianos classicpizzawith spinach and tomato. we will definitely be back.

here is the thing...what they are famous for is very average - their pizza...i think it is because i do not like their cheese...however, alot of the other items on the menu are very delicious - clam linguini, gnocchi, hoagies, appetizers all very delicious....don't get me wrong thepizzais not bad, i just think it is missing something - i think it would be better if they did not use a blend - straight mozzarella....nick scalise (the owner) is a good guy and very accomodating - i have always wanted his autograph due to his likeness of keith hernandez....:  )

wow! if you want the bestpizzain the pittsburgh area, this is the place to go.   i love the traditional but my wife loves the sicilian so we usually switch off each  time we go.  now however, i have fallen in love with the rigatoni juliano's which is a blend of alfredo and marinara sauces so have a hard time deciding which to order.

this was our third time dining in at this place and let me tell you third time is not the charm. the dining room still smells like feet. the bathrooms were not as clean as they should be. which really made me and my family mad because there are only two bathrooms and they were discusting. the tiles were outdated and you could literally see the dirt and grime in the grout. our service had been fine up until this time when we got a short old blonde lady who was rude and inconsiderate to our feelings as customers. the restaurant is supposed to have an italian/family feel to it but it mainly just felt like a tackypizzashop with horrible outdated italian music. the music supposed to be in the background but is so loud you have to almost scream to talk across the tiny tables. the same songs came on two or three times in our 45 minutes of being in this disgusting, old, dry rotting dining room. the waitress was so rude and wanted to sit around the dining room instead of take the time to make sure we were taken care of as paying customers. the food was below average and way over priced. if the owner spent half of the money on food quality as he does on giving people free fried dough and gift cards then this would be the best restaurant in the nation no doubt. the only reason i know of this is because the first time we went he was walking around the dining room all night annoying customers until finally he gave the entire dining room orders of free fried dough. then after we were trying to check out, in the front because it is set up like a mcdonald's instead of a real restaurant, the three groups that were infront of us had gotten $10 gift cards for no other reason but the food taking too long.
