best food in pittsburgh.juliano'shands down, has some of the best food, service, and atomosphere in pittsburgh. i have tried a majority of things on the menu and loved them all. the wings are my favorite and the pizza could not be better. you could order anything on the menu and be satisfied. i would highly recommendjuliano'sto anyone looking for excellent food and a great night out!

excellent pizza. we lovejuliano'spizza! we get plain, extra cheese and it is perfect! haven't tried anything else yet because we are in love with the pizza! all of the items on the menu look really delicious. the restaurant needs some updating, but don't let the looks deceive you!

we recently had my daughter's confirmation luncheon, making this our third one, atjuliano'sand just wanted to say the buffet was delicious and plentiful. the servers and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. we've had baptisms, communions, confirmations, and just regular family/friend visits atjuliano'sand i've never left disappointed.

great catering!.juliano'sjust catered my daughter's first communion gathering at our home and it was delicious. i highly recomment the chicken romano as it was so tender and moist. the pasta julianos is fantastic and you will not be disappointed. my daughter wanted the traditional pizza and we all enjoyed it. the delivery driver was right on time and all the food was hot. great job!

great food...great sponsor. nick & roseann have been great supporters toward the kennedy twp dek hockey league. two years ago, they provided all the pizza's for our year end picnic, and last year they donated meatballs & wings. everyone at the picnic loved the food. for this season, nick & roseann sponsored two of our teams by and we are very happy to have them as a sponsor. you are missing out if you have not triedjuliano'syet.......jg from kennedy twp

good tasting italian food.juliano'smay not be the fanciest restaurant in town and certainly not considered an upscale eatery; however, if you want good old fashioned service with a smile . . . and a consistently good italian spaghetti sauce this is the place to go. a very down home atmosphere with reasonable prices for savory italian food . . . their pizza is excellent as well. i highly recommend this family establishment to anyone who has a taste for italiano foodie :-) . . . don't change a thing mr. juliano!

great italian buffet!. i went tojuliano'sagain for their lunch buffet around 12 o'clock. it was very crowded when i arrived, but i was quickly greeted by the waitress and offered a drink. unlike past visits, the food was frequently replenished and was fresh. throughout the meal, our waitress was very attentive in refilling our drinks and removing used plates from our table. overall, it was a very enjoyable lunch and i felt the need to write a review, so that others are aware of the buffet.

four of us went to have dinner may 1st on the recommendation of my son-in-law, seth w. my daughter and he have been married living west of pittsburgh,pa. the outside is plain looking and very rustic. don't let the look of the outside make you pass this restaurant by.
the rural style hearty big platefuls of incredibly good southern italian fare will tingle your taste buds and make you believe you've passed the exam to get into food heaven!
our italian style entrees were
1. fettuccine alfredo with a much lighter than average cream sauce
2. eggplant rollatini the sunday special@
3. pasta combo with ravioli, sweet sausage, and meatball in a heavenly sweet red sauce.

wow! if you want the best pizza in the pittsburgh area, this is the place to go.   i love the traditional but my wife loves the sicilian so we usually switch off each  time we go.  now however, i have fallen in love with the rigatonijuliano'swhich is a blend of alfredo and marinara sauces so have a hard time deciding which to order.

something for everyone! even gluten free. i have been here a handful of times. every time the food has been great. the staff has been very friendly and patient, with even the pickiest person in our bunch. the pizza is very good, you can tell that they make their own fresh dough. i personally appreciate the gluten free options. i always sigh when someone suggests we go out for pizza, due to me having to eat gluten free. that usually means that i will be smelling delicious pizza while i have to eat a salad. not here! they have something for everyone. i can enjoy a surprisingly amazing gluten free pizza, not the typical burnt thin cardboard that i have gotten at other places. i have also had the gluten free pasta and gluten free brownies both of which where great. a lot of places now have some sort of gluten free options, i could go to a local italian chain in the area and get gluten free pasta. however,juliano'swas much better and will the chain restaurant take the time to make me a gluten free brownie ( i think we all know the answer to that). you can tell that they want to make their customers happy and care about their reputation as a family business.

award winning pizza? not really... the crust tasted pre-made, not like fresh dough. there was barely any sauce on my pizza either. i can get better pizza anywhere else, but i'll givejuliano'sanother chance and come back for some pasta.

operation: dinner out!. we have been out on a dinner date several times atjuliano'sand we have never been disappointed. the secret atjuliano'sis more than the food; it is their wait staff! good food is always made better when served by effecient and congenial servers. they make us feel welcome; they make us feel important. the atmosphere is warm and always inviting. good food! great employees! keep it up, juliano's.

my italian family fights overjuliano'sleftovers!!!. once again,juliano'sdid not disappoint when we had our daughter's christening reception there in september (also had our son's there in 2010) the staff was prompt and friendly, the food was hot and delicious, and my family was fighting over leftovers...my dad got first dibs! going tonight for there all-you-can-eat pasta with my aunt from new jersey who always has dinner atjuliano'swhen she is in town-and am sure we will not be disappointed! considering we are italian and take our food very seriously, we highly recommendjuliano'sfor authentic italian cuisine, whether it be for catering or just dinner with familia!

great place for party!!. i had my son's baptism celebration there 4 years ago and it was so good (my italian relatives were fighting over who got to take home leftovers) that we have decided to have our daughter's baptism celebration there too....will keep you posted if it was the same great food and service as the first time!

best pizza!!. best pizza! their pizza crust is absolutely perfect...crispy enough to hold up under all the toppings, but still soft and chewy. delicious!!! we go out of our way to enjoyjuliano'spizza and pasta.
