i had a spicycheesemutton burger combo with fries and a cool drink. all ingredients were fresh and tasty. the general sauces on the tables tasty, but they do sell a hot sauce. the service was quick. the burgers were jumbo size then there is a larger king size burger

fair service. steak sandwich was well prepared with chips,cheesea nice sauce, not too sweet and shredded lettuce. worth the price paid. compared to two other steak sandwiches i've tried of late in the cbd this was the best tasting and value for money.

jolly grubber has been a favourite for years, such fond memories of trips to durban as a child and walks to the jolly grubber in central durban (when it was safe enough to stroll through the streets).
very impressed with the pop-up store in north beach that i took the opportunity to eat at almost every day of my vacation. so conveniently situated as well.
the service was good, and the food just as i remember. had to stop by for 'padkos' on my way out back to jhb.
we ordered the platters mostly (with seekhs and kebabs and chicken and chips) because there was always a big group of us. the chicken is awesome. i also had the saucy strips with chips and pita- delicious.
the mac andcheesewith tomato was nostalgic and the steak rolls too.
there's nothing quite like jolly grubber when you're in durban.

big up to jolly gs at springfield park for being open till late (midnight) on a saturday to satisfy my late night hunger pangs.cheeseburgers are number one, and you can't go wrong with the four seasons pizza. the beachfront used to be our go-to as a student and even today the prices are reasonable and the quality is good.
