this place is way to expensive. r70 for a mutton burger meal. that is being plain down greedy. last week i was charged r60 for a hot dog. never again that's why the place is always empty.

never been disappointed with the food here. don't have to wait long for your order and service is always spot on. parda facilities available if needed.

terrible pizzas! thick, dense base, and absolutely no flavor. management also does not care for your complaints. i'd not recommend them.....

i had a spicy cheese mutton burger combo with fries and a cool drink. all ingredients were fresh and tasty. the general sauces on the tables tasty, but they do sell a hot sauce. the service was quick. the burgers were jumbo size then there is a larger king size burger

things have changed over the years. the masala basting on the chicken is way too spicy even though i eat hot, the masala fish is good though and not over spiced. i'm not a fan of their pizzas or any other items. shawarmas are not too bad

very delicious & well spiced up, freshly cooked food. we had chicken & lamb boti kebab served with khaboos, salad & fries. was amazing. the service is good, the owner also is very friendly & attentive to all the guests. ambience is okayish but food quality is out of the world. 👍

friendly people, relaxing environment (north beach), very good food. view of the ocean and the pasaing crowd along the golden mile is just great!

we always stopped there late at night but at the springfield one...the pizza is to die for and the prices are very reasonable. .will be a definite visit again

fair service. steak sandwich was well prepared with chips, cheese a nice sauce, not too sweet and shredded lettuce. worth the price paid. compared to two other steak sandwiches i've tried of late in the cbd this was the best tasting and value for money.

i called to order from them and was told that the menu i was looking at on zomato was an old menu... the specials on the menu were not available anymore...

this place used to be good, ordered the chicken sosaties and a schwarma. really disappointing, firstly the wrong items were delivered then after another hour we got the correct food.

jolly grubber has been a favourite for years, such fond memories of trips to durban as a child and walks to the jolly grubber in central durban (when it was safe enough to stroll through the streets).
very impressed with the pop-up store in north beach that i took the opportunity to eat at almost every day of my vacation. so conveniently situated as well.
the service was good, and the food just as i remember. had to stop by for 'padkos' on my way out back to jhb.
we ordered the platters mostly (with seekhs and kebabs and chicken and chips) because there was always a big group of us. the chicken is awesome. i also had the saucy strips with chips and pita- delicious.
the mac and cheese with tomato was nostalgic and the steak rolls too.
there's nothing quite like jolly grubber when you're in durban.

apparently this place has been around for years and only recently had i tried it. one evening my cousins had decided to get some takeaways and we settled on jolly grubber burgers. the burgers are good, not badly priced and definitely hits the spot for a late night meal.

this is a must everytime we come down to dbn. my dad used to always bring us here when we were little now we have to have it whenever we are here. the burgers are absolutely divine and the chicken pasta is out of this world. their prices are reasonable and you don't wait long for your meal. take aways are best when wanting to eat from here as it isn't my very clean.

big up to jolly gs at springfield park for being open till late (midnight) on a saturday to satisfy my late night hunger pangs. cheese burgers are number one, and you can't go wrong with the four seasons pizza. the beachfront used to be our go-to as a student and even today the prices are reasonable and the quality is good.
