decent location, but.... atmosphere is good. when i go out to eat, expecting a place called arestaurantto have food isn't too much, right? been here a few times and not exactly sure if it's food they're serving. service has been horrible to poor each time. go somewhere else if you want food. go somewhere else if you want something to drink with a smile, they don't have it. i think quoting mr. jameson (spiderman) sums it up nicely: "crap, crap, mega-crap".

seafaring decor bar - restaurant. as you enter this open air bar you are met by a huge boiled crab hanging over one side of the bar and on the other side of the bar is a small whale and sail boat. the bar is huge and has a few high seat tables surrounding the bar but the bar the main attraction here. one bartender seemed arrogant and rude and walked away when i did not immediately place my order when she asked while i was trying to look over the drink menu the other bartender was very friendly the bar seating are high bamboo and padded webbing seats. the decor is seafaring with figureheads, anchors, wooden blocks and tackle and stuffed swordfish and marlin. the bar has a fair selection of beer with numerous special cocktails and a good wine selection. the food is very good and plentiful. i got fried catfish, a salad and sweet potato fries. i got 2 huge fillets of fish, one is a meal with sides so boxed the other and the salad was a plate itself. got a huge pile of golden yellow fries that were very sweet and salty.
i recommend this bar -restaurantif for nothing else for the decor, the brew and a fairly friendly place.

also i'm at the hotel down the street and the music is obnoxiously loud

unbelievable that arestaurantin southern florida doesn't serve sweet tea. i then ordered a lemonade that was terrible. there were at least two statues of women with their boobs hanging out (one was almost life size and hung out from the wall over tables). the music is bad reggae versions of top 40 music. i recommend just going down the street to the drunken goats place. same type of food but better music

we had breakfast and dinner here. so far our favoriterestaurantin palm beach. great service, great, affordable food and open to alter the menu. my wife wanted a crab meat sandwich that was not on the menu. the kitchen accommodated her and made her a great crab meat sandwich which had more meat than bread.

loved it!. after reading other reviews, i was very hesitant to go here, but this was the closestrestaurantto our hotel, and after an 8 hour drive we didn't feel like going to far our first night. it was great! all the other "renowned" restaurants in the area had such pricey food, and their quality was not any better than here, trust me we tried a few! sure the decor and view may be better, but paying double and almost triple the price for fried shrimp just for that is ridiculous. we ate here several times during our week stay, and not once did we get a bad dish or bad service. we stayed in palm beach during the coldest week they have had in years, so we didn't get to enjoy the beach; but we did get to enjoy some great food here. some excellent dishes to try are fried shrimp, stuffed shrimp, crab bisque, and their crab melt. if you want a great meal in a laid back beachy atmosphere than this is the spot!

had a light dinner here tonight. husband and i each had a salad and shared a cajun fish bite appetizer with black beans and rice. beans and rice were great! the salads were crisp and yummy. i thought the fish was seasoned good, but a little overcooked. friends had the seafood soup and raved about it. one had the seafood fettucine and loved it and the escargot was great. overall a great meal! i will go back.
