decent location, but.... atmosphere is good. when i go out to eat, expecting aplacecalled a restaurant to have food isn't too much, right? been here a few times and not exactly sure if it's food they're serving. service has been horrible to poor each time. go somewhere else if you want food. go somewhere else if you want something to drink with a smile, they don't have it. i think quoting mr. jameson (spiderman) sums it up nicely: "crap, crap, mega-crap".

the food was alright. i had the shrimp scampi. it was pretty good. linguini was a tad over cooked. husband had fish & chips. did not really care for it. what ruins theplacewas our service! our waitress name was kim. very rude & slow!! we were with another couple & asked at the very beginning to have separate checks. her response was... you guys can figure it out!!! really?? on this night they had a live band playing. we asked to be seated in the back farthest away, however it was still so loud that we had to yell to hear one another!! not sure i'd go back if in same area.

seafaring decor bar - restaurant. as you enter this open air bar you are met by a huge boiled crab hanging over one side of the bar and on the other side of the bar is a small whale and sail boat. the bar is huge and has a few high seat tables surrounding the bar but the bar the main attraction here. one bartender seemed arrogant and rude and walked away when i did not immediatelyplacemy order when she asked while i was trying to look over the drink menu the other bartender was very friendly the bar seating are high bamboo and padded webbing seats. the decor is seafaring with figureheads, anchors, wooden blocks and tackle and stuffed swordfish and marlin. the bar has a fair selection of beer with numerous special cocktails and a good wine selection. the food is very good and plentiful. i got fried catfish, a salad and sweet potato fries. i got 2 huge fillets of fish, one is a meal with sides so boxed the other and the salad was a plate itself. got a huge pile of golden yellow fries that were very sweet and salty.
i recommend this bar - restaurant if for nothing else for the decor, the brew and a fairly friendly place.

we had a great time. we came 2x in a week and my friends and i had a wonderful time. we sat at the bar with leah from nj and we laughed and laughed. she recommend almost everything on the menu and believe me we ordered it. everything was great except we didn't love the conch fritters. .they were ok..it was happy hour prices were so cheap especially coming from ny..greatplacegreat bartender. ..

much better places in west palm downtown or palm shores beach area... don't bother here. thisplaceis eww! the hostess wasn't very friendly, a few were standing around and look bothered to seat us for lunch. she didn't ask where we prefer to sit (patio or inside) and took us to a row of booths lining the windows. the windows were extremely dirty, instead of standing around the hostesses should be cleaning these filthy nasty windows. at this point i was ready to leave and had one leg out of the booth when the waitress came over. my husband and i sucked it up and ate here despite not being very comfortable with the level of cleanliness. i really lost my appetite but has a chicken wrap which was so so. i also had fried plantains, which seemed to have fuzzies stuck on them so i really didn't eat them. my husband got some sort of crab bisque, which was ok. although we were staying in hotel close by we avoided going to thisplaceor anyplacein this strip as the area just seemed odd.

the sunrise. thisplacewas a wonderfulplaceto start our day. we had just watched the sunrise on the beach. we walked over to johnny longboats and had a wonderful surprise. the atmosphere is fun. it is right on the beach, which i loved! the windows are open to the beach. so it was like eating in our own beach house.
the food was great. i had the french toast. it was sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar. yum! my hubby had steak and eggs. he devoured it! coffee was hot and the server left us a personal carafe.
our server was great. she even gave us a couple of plastic cups to take. she was indulging my adventure of the day which was to see a sunrise and sunset in the same day from coast to coast! the cups were a keepsake.
this is our new spot for breakfast on the east coast.

disappointed at the food selection, atmosphere was great. greatplacefor a couple of cocktails!! kids were not impressed!

great place. i have visited about 10 times. (just moved to the area) food has always been good! service is a real hit or miss. either your get ok service or very poor service. the only thing missing for thisplaceto be great is the server's training. focus on this and it will be great....don't and i will not continue to return.

terrible food/service, great atmosphere. a funplaceto eat, but the food and service are terrible.

little help (for me ). it was a goodplaceto eat the carrot cake was huge.i also bought 5 bottles of the mister mr.breeze hot sauce the with the the skull on it. the t.s.a. at t he airport took it from me. just because the bottles were to big (8oz) so if anyone out there knows a web site well you what to do thanks

what a mess. food sucks - service is awful - management thinks its the cast of jersey shore - confrontational and not at all interested in customer service - i have never seen aplacerun so poorly or with so little cate for the customer - if your a beach bum a bar fly or just stupid thisplaceis for you - otherwise head anywhere else - sailfish marina - or even if you want more casual head across the bridge and head to the tiki - a much better choice for any reason than stopping in here.

more chance of being served in a desert. food was from a can. best word to describe thisplaceis 'fake'. all the 'beach vibe' in the world coulnd't save this place.
