the food was alright. i had the shrimp scampi. it was pretty good. linguini was a tad over cooked. husband had fish & chips. did not really care for it. what ruins the place was our service! our waitress name was kim. very rude & slow!! we were with another couple & asked at the very beginning to have separate checks. her response was... you guys can figure it out!!! really?? on this night they had a live band playing. we asked to be seated in thebackfarthest away, however it was still so loud that we had to yell to hear one another!! not sure i'd gobackif in same area.

fun islandy restaurant. wonderful waitress kathleen suggested i sendbackmy grouper in a bag as she knew it wasn't great- my tomato, mozzerrella, balsamic dressing salad was big and delicious. my husbands crab louie salad was awesome too. would gobackagain for a casual meal. our waitress was such a joy:).

bad food and worse service. it's a bad sign when you see a cook sneak out of the kitchen and return with carry-out pizza for thebackof house staff.

some of the best seafood my husband and i have ever had. great atmosphere. we will probably comebackagain tomorrow!

someone pier recommended it. great food and atmosphere. the kids thought it was cool and i will comebacknext time we visit. menu was huge!

food was good, but....... we realized when we gotbackto the hotel that my wife had left her glasses on the table. we called immediately and asked them to check. the person who answered the phone was totaly uninterested in helping. she siad someone was already seated at that table and there was nothing she could do. we drove all the waybackand found the glasses on the floor. fortunately no one had stepped on them. thanks, johnny for the lousy customer service.

michele. had dinner last night at johnny's. food was served cold. i ordered crab cake and fresh vege's. veges were nearly raw and the crab cakes were cold. my husband ordered fish in a bag. his veges were also nearly raw and cold. he did not order sweet potato fries but there they were. they were warm but not hot. the server took itbackto the kitchen.
i asked to see the manager.
when the server came to ask if we needed anything, i commented "where is my food, my friends are finished but i have nothing". this was about a 15 minute wait. still no manager. when he finally came to the table he mumbled something about desert on him.
while returning to the table after a visit to the ladies room i heard a server say "i can return it to the kitchen". that should have been my 1st clue about the service at this place.
slow service and cold food is no way to attract repeat customers.

loved it!. after reading other reviews, i was very hesitant to go here, but this was the closest restaurant to our hotel, and after an 8 hour drive we didn't feel like going to far our first night. it was great! all the other "renowned" restaurants in the area had such pricey food, and their quality was not any better than here, trust me we tried a few! sure the decor and view may be better, but paying double and almost triple the price for fried shrimp just for that is ridiculous. we ate here several times during our week stay, and not once did we get a bad dish or bad service. we stayed in palm beach during the coldest week they have had in years, so we didn't get to enjoy the beach; but we did get to enjoy some great food here. some excellent dishes to try are fried shrimp, stuffed shrimp, crab bisque, and their crab melt. if you want a great meal in a laidbackbeachy atmosphere than this is the spot!

totally terrific alcapulco omelet this morning. karen gave us super service. camebackfor happy hour!
