i was greeted by two cute ladies at the door and sat at the bar. took a while before one of the bartenders took my order which arrived shortly after. i ordered the panang prawn curry with brown rice. it is a smaller portion and heavy on the veggies (typical for many seafood dishes). the veggies are not fully cooked and still crunchy which can begoodor bad depending on your personal preference. the dish had agoodoverall curry taste and went great with the brown rice. i liked the dish but would not order it again (not for $18.) service was slow after i finished eating. finally had to ask one of the ladies for my check. overall i enjoyed the restaurant, food, and the atmosphere. i would come back.

first time @ restaurant = notgoodexperience. my daughter ordered nachos w/o salsa, jalapenos, and guacamole. after one bite, she couldn't eat it because it was way too spicy. i tried it and found that the olives were spicy. made mention of this to the waitress and her response was "hmmm, really? that's odd" as if my daughter and i were lying! told her to try it. after telling her my daughter won't eat it, she took it back and made another without the spicy olives. i ordered the steak and mushrooms. too much pepper in the mushrooms! i didn't send it back because i already complained abouty daughter's meal. waitress could be more friendly and available! no refills for my daughters lemonade. was charged 2x for lemonade w/o being told. not a great way to experience a new restaurant!

we went with a group of approx. 18 people after a soccer game for dinner. the hostesses and servers were very attractive, helpful, and efficient. they were at the tables alot. the food was a bit pricey, but it was allgoodand decent size portions. we had steak, pasta, burgers, sushi, and salads. we had agoodfirst time experience. it also was a saturday night.

go for the gorgeous staff, stay for the variety on the menu.

beautiful women throughout the place, what isn't to like about that? to top it off, the food isgoodas well, i've enjoyed everything i have ordered to this point.

the bar is the better place to hang out, nice atmosphere, big tv's,goodfood and drinks and of course the hiring managers are geniuses!

home away from home. ah, joey's. probably in the top ten of all the mall-attached restaurants i've ever been to. i was in tukwila for the better part of two months and it didn't take long to make this my 'regular' spot. it had a lot going for it: classy environment, close to my hotel,gooddrink selection, attractive wait staff and filled with pretty people.

the food was the kind of slightly weird stuff you normally find in a 'higher class' type of restaurant, but not so off-base that it fell in to the once-a-year category. everything i had was consistently cooked just right and well presented.

the bartenders and wait staff... well, they weren't hard to look at. the strange thing was that they almost all had black or blond hair. they all wore a black outfit as well. very consistent with that too.

as with any bar nowadays, they had the obligatory bank of widescreen tvs to distract you from whoever you were with. only here they weren't always on sports, strangely enough. more often than not they were tuned to a variety of stations, news most of the time, but other times there were normal tv shows. no closed captioning though.

i can't speak for the sit-down part of the restaurant, i spent nearly all my time at the bar, and only one occasion at a table in the bar. the service there was always friendly and quick.

i highly recommend joey's for happy hour with your work buddies or even a first date situation. it's just pricey and classy enough to impress who you're with and you don't have to break the bank for drinks and an appetizer.

if you are gf be careful. i went here to have dinner and drinks. newly gf (gluten free) i was hoping they's have somegoodoptions. when i asked if the corn chips in the nachos were gluten free, the waitress went to ask the chef, came back and told me they were out . . . fine, but the question still remains. anyway, i went the salad route and told the waitress i was allergic to gluten. she said she noted it on the ticket. when i got my salad (which i had ordered without avacado) it had the avacado, and bread/crutons in it :( after picking the crutons out, tossing the avacado aside, i was dissapointed that what was left was mostly salad. the chicken, feta, green apples, and dried cranberries were quite scarce. the only positive note for this place was that the waitress (seemingly) tried to accomodate my allergy, and the drink specials are good.

the waitresses are a bit airheadish, but foodsgood& the fire's awesome:)
