if you're a woman. if you come here alone to eat, be prepared to be ignored by the female servers, get scowls and not even be able to order adrinkwhile we being one of three people at the bar (the other two were male). the menu was plopped down in front of me by another girl, who then wanted my order then and there. she disappeared for ten minutes, then came back, still can't get a drink, no one has even offered. not coming back!

horrible place. terrible food for the $. horrible service! i at least had a sense of humor with the hole situation. the snobs of wa. are not use to your everyday o.c. female that laugh at chicks. turned there stuckupness into hilarious humor! actually got entertained out of the hole ordeal! i think they hate the fact that they have too work! lmao... beware of this place. certainly geared for men clientele that do not care about the food quality nor quickdrinkservice from the bar. fyi: if you have food allergies do not eat here either! not very accommodating at all!!

not the place for a party of 10+!. i hosted a dinner of 18 and reserved the semi-private dining area.

the food was cold, but i'm sure it was because the servers were nowhere to be found most of the time.

the waiter spilled an entire alcoholicdrinkon my friend then laughed it off with a "my bad, bro."

the waitress took an order for a sprite for another friend. however, after the appetizer, entree, 2 refills of water and a friendly reminder--the sprite had still not come.

i took care of my sister's meal on my ticket, yet they gave her a bill anyway and seriously expected her to pay for it.

another friend of mine waited 20 minutes and asked both the waitress and the waiter for it--yet it never came.

i used to come to this place quite often, but after this terrible experience--i will never be back again. if it weren't for my family's patience and sense of humor, this dinner could have potentially been a disaster.

the prawn curry bowl was excellent according to my wife and the sirloin was great for me. the sliders tasted wonderful and the wine &drinkselection was more than adequate. the service was above and beyond, with attentive but not hovering help. we will definitely come back again.

home away from home. ah, joey's. probably in the top ten of all the mall-attached restaurants i've ever been to. i was in tukwila for the better part of two months and it didn't take long to make this my 'regular' spot. it had a lot going for it: classy environment, close to my hotel, gooddrinkselection, attractive wait staff and filled with pretty people.

the food was the kind of slightly weird stuff you normally find in a 'higher class' type of restaurant, but not so off-base that it fell in to the once-a-year category. everything i had was consistently cooked just right and well presented.

the bartenders and wait staff... well, they weren't hard to look at. the strange thing was that they almost all had black or blond hair. they all wore a black outfit as well. very consistent with that too.

as with any bar nowadays, they had the obligatory bank of widescreen tvs to distract you from whoever you were with. only here they weren't always on sports, strangely enough. more often than not they were tuned to a variety of stations, news most of the time, but other times there were normal tv shows. no closed captioning though.

i can't speak for the sit-down part of the restaurant, i spent nearly all my time at the bar, and only one occasion at a table in the bar. the service there was always friendly and quick.

i highly recommend joey's for happy hour with your work buddies or even a first date situation. it's just pricey and classy enough to impress who you're with and you don't have to break the bank for drinks and an appetizer.

excellent. i loved this restaurant. the food was delicious and we got excellent service. we were seated immediately.

when i went here with my boyfriend, the waitress was very friendly and helpful with giving us suggestions with the menu. we sat outside and a fly flew in my boyfriend'sdrinkand she immediately replaced it. at the end, she gave us a free dessert for "being such awesome customers" too. you have to try the chocolate souffle, it's incredible.

i would definitely go back.

if you are gf be careful. i went here to have dinner and drinks. newly gf (gluten free) i was hoping they's have some good options. when i asked if the corn chips in the nachos were gluten free, the waitress went to ask the chef, came back and told me they were out . . . fine, but the question still remains. anyway, i went the salad route and told the waitress i was allergic to gluten. she said she noted it on the ticket. when i got my salad (which i had ordered without avacado) it had the avacado, and bread/crutons in it :( after picking the crutons out, tossing the avacado aside, i was dissapointed that what was left was mostly salad. the chicken, feta, green apples, and dried cranberries were quite scarce. the only positive note for this place was that the waitress (seemingly) tried to accomodate my allergy, and thedrinkspecials are good.
