this place acts like a nightclub. although the decor does look like an upscale restaurant, thefoodis mediocre. the staff is very slow, especially on a busy day. i've tried their salads and i wasn't impressed. won't be back.

november's date night was dinner at joey at southcenter and a walk around the somewhat new round 1 entertainment area in the mall.  the place was packed and the wait for bowling and karaoke were hours long.  so we decided to just check it out and call it a night early.   round 1 was a large space with nice bowling lanes and private rooms for karaoke.  there was also endless video games.  they servefoodand beer for when you're tired and hungry from all the playing.   for dinner at joey, we each had a drink-a strawberry lemondrop for me and an old fashioned for the mr.  we shared the grande chicken nachos and the chicken tandoori flatbread.  both dishes were tasty but too bad i couldn't burn any of it off bowling!

love thefoodand the servers. but, when you sit down at a high end bar, it is very cheezy when they require a credit card up front. i hate that!

sucks! after being ignored for about 15 minutes after sitting down, i walked out after waiting 50 minutes for thefoodorder, watching tables that came in after us being served, service is a joke, and bring ear plugs if you sit inside, forget about conversation. save your money.

horrible place. terriblefoodfor the $. horrible service! i at least had a sense of humor with the hole situation. the snobs of wa. are not use to your everyday o.c. female that laugh at chicks. turned there stuckupness into hilarious humor! actually got entertained out of the hole ordeal! i think they hate the fact that they have too work! lmao... beware of this place. certainly geared for men clientele that do not care about thefoodquality nor quick drink service from the bar. fyi: if you havefoodallergies do not eat here either! not very accommodating at all!!

service was horrible. we had a party of five women sitting in the bar and we're completely ignored by the staff. took forever for ourfoodand drinks to be ordered and served. saw the female staff either standing around or too busy with the male customers. once ourfoodarrived, dressing on the salad tasted off and the fries were limp from sitting under the heat lamp for so long.

we went with a group of approx. 18 people after a soccer game for dinner. the hostesses and servers were very attractive, helpful, and efficient. they were at the tables alot. thefoodwas a bit pricey, but it was all good and decent size portions. we had steak, pasta, burgers, sushi, and salads. we had a good first time experience. it also was a saturday night.

not the place for a party of 10+!. i hosted a dinner of 18 and reserved the semi-private dining area.

thefoodwas cold, but i'm sure it was because the servers were nowhere to be found most of the time.

the waiter spilled an entire alcoholic drink on my friend then laughed it off with a "my bad, bro."

the waitress took an order for a sprite for another friend. however, after the appetizer, entree, 2 refills of water and a friendly reminder--the sprite had still not come.

i took care of my sister's meal on my ticket, yet they gave her a bill anyway and seriously expected her to pay for it.

another friend of mine waited 20 minutes and asked both the waitress and the waiter for it--yet it never came.

i used to come to this place quite often, but after this terrible experience--i will never be back again. if it weren't for my family's patience and sense of humor, this dinner could have potentially been a disaster.

excellent restaurant. i've been to joey's a few times and each visit was great. the customer service is very good. servers and hostesses are attentive, friendly and extremely efficient. thefoodis a little pricey but, in my opinion, is worth it. it's delicious and the presentation is so nice. portion sizes are good. the outdoor patio in the summertime is amazing! joey's is definitely in my top 5 favorite restaurants!

go for the gorgeous staff, stay for the variety on the menu.

beautiful women throughout the place, what isn't to like about that? to top it off, thefoodis good as well, i've enjoyed everything i have ordered to this point.

the bar is the better place to hang out, nice atmosphere, big tv's, goodfoodand drinks and of course the hiring managers are geniuses!

home away from home. ah, joey's. probably in the top ten of all the mall-attached restaurants i've ever been to. i was in tukwila for the better part of two months and it didn't take long to make this my 'regular' spot. it had a lot going for it: classy environment, close to my hotel, good drink selection, attractive wait staff and filled with pretty people.

thefoodwas the kind of slightly weird stuff you normally find in a 'higher class' type of restaurant, but not so off-base that it fell in to the once-a-year category. everything i had was consistently cooked just right and well presented.

the bartenders and wait staff... well, they weren't hard to look at. the strange thing was that they almost all had black or blond hair. they all wore a black outfit as well. very consistent with that too.

as with any bar nowadays, they had the obligatory bank of widescreen tvs to distract you from whoever you were with. only here they weren't always on sports, strangely enough. more often than not they were tuned to a variety of stations, news most of the time, but other times there were normal tv shows. no closed captioning though.

i can't speak for the sit-down part of the restaurant, i spent nearly all my time at the bar, and only one occasion at a table in the bar. the service there was always friendly and quick.

i highly recommend joey's for happy hour with your work buddies or even a first date situation. it's just pricey and classy enough to impress who you're with and you don't have to break the bank for drinks and an appetizer.

excellent. i loved this restaurant. thefoodwas delicious and we got excellent service. we were seated immediately.

when i went here with my boyfriend, the waitress was very friendly and helpful with giving us suggestions with the menu. we sat outside and a fly flew in my boyfriend's drink and she immediately replaced it. at the end, she gave us a free dessert for "being such awesome customers" too. you have to try the chocolate souffle, it's incredible.

i would definitely go back.

unsatisfied. joeys has a very nice atmosphere and greatfoodfor what i was able to eat. we had a party of 11 reserved for over a week and when we were seated at 8:30pm we ordered drinks and appetizers right away. we waited over 45 minutes for our drinks and over an hour and fifteen minutes for our appetizers. they switched out waitresses many times and therefore orders were not put in correctly. after being told that our dinner would not be at our table for an additional 30 minutes (this was at 10:30pm) we cancelled our order and left ...but only after they messed up our bills. so basically it was horrible service and timing but great appetizers and drinks.
