joey is a really nice chain restaurant, each location has its own charm.joeymayfield is no different! it has a beautiful atrium and a great ambience.

joey has delicious cocktails and food. i had a bellini, a sangria and the california chicken sandwich. the sandwich had a lot more bread than chicken but was quite good overall. both the bellini and sangria were flavourful and well made. service was good and attentive.

i would definitely recommend thisjoeylocation!

joey has got to be one of my favourite "fine dining" restaurants and one that i have been coming back to and at times, finding myself craving their food. as any other restaurant,  joey can get very packed at night with a wait but i have never had to wait excessively long whether it be a party of 2 or a party of 6. in the summer, they open up the windows in their patio. i would recommend trying to get a patio seating if available as it makes the experience even more enjoyable.

i have never had a problem with the service here. the service at this particularjoeyis exceptional. the staff are all very polite, friendly, and attentive. some servers even try to make your dining experience feel more personal by asking you about your day or your plans, which i believe all servers should try to do rather than making you feel impersonal and that they are truly just there to "serve" you. 

the food has *consistently* come out fantastic each and every time i've been back. i won't go into specifics about their food but i will name a few of my favourites: the herb crushed salmon, their steaks, the beef dip, and especially their yam fries. their presentation with the food is beautiful and you can tell thatjoeyreally puts a lot into how they present and make their food.  i even forgot, more importantly, their famous crispy mashed potatoes is a side dish you must try.

i love the food, experience, and service atjoeyand it is a place i will continue to keep coming back to.

i ordered the filet mignon medium rare but got it rare. so i told the waiter about it and he took the steak back to the kitchen. i figure if you are paying $30 they better cook it right and i just took 1 bite of it. so what happened next really had me questioning whetherjoeyis a quality place. another waitress returned with the same rare steak i had an issue with. i told her this is my undercooked steak and her reply " i am just delivering it." be wary if you return your food that they don't just send the same stuff back to you.

i been tojoeymayfield with friends and family and i was not happy about the service. there isn't really a kids menu and utensils for kids to eat. they told us at front desk that two tables would be joined to accommodate all that was in the group. then we got in and the waitress had the kids at a separate table than the adults, kids are age 3-6 that's not good service. adults have kids too who goes out to eat and they didn't even have a booster seat, that should have been said to us at the front desk. then the waitress came to the table where i sat with the kids took our order and left thinking she is going to put our order in, honestly we didn't get our food till 1 hr later, the table next to us got there's and they ordered way after us. waitress came and said sorry i didn't put your order in but i'll tell the chef to rush your order. so my experience was awful and i would not be going back to anyjoeymayfield to eat, that includes all my friends and family.

my family and i went tojoeylast night for my 21st birthday, i had never been before but had heard some good reviews from others and decided to give it a go. overall the meal was pretty good minus the fact that the wrong food was brought out to our table on 2 occasions and our water glasses weren't filled up once. now this is the part i was really upset about, upset enough to write a review which isn't something i would normally do. so earlier that day a man i volunteer for had surprise delivered a cake he had specially made himself for me as he is a baker. as we later found out that evening when the restaurant called our home, this cake had somehow been forgotten about by the waitress and all others who had been notified about it and was not brought out to our table. i was exceptionally disappointed when i found out about this as i feel terrible for the man who had brought the cake there for me. he had originally thought my birthday was next week and had planned to bring the cake when i volunteered next but on thursday i had told him we were celebrating this saturday atjoeyso he, being an exceptionally busy man, went through all the trouble of designing me a cake and hand-delivering it only to have the staff forget about it. needless to say, i won't be going tojoeyagain anytime soon.

had dinner atjoeymayfield tonight. the service was great! can't say the same for the food. we ordered the spinach dip to start. it looked like a frozen dip from m&ms that had just been microwaved, was lukewarm. with some tortilla chips on the side and a very tiny serving of salsa. not worth the $12 or so that we paid. for entrees my friend ordered lobster grilled cheese and a garden salad. the grilled cheese was cold and looked like something that should be on a kids menu, very small with little filling. not worth $17! ( the side salad cost an extra $2). i ordered the baja fish tocos, they however were great as usual! they don't come with a side and if you order anything for a side dish it is very expensive , waitress said fries were $4. not worth it to me. over all the quality of the food has gone down over the past year in my opinion. save your money and make your own food at home!

wow!. late august, friday afternoon, not too many good days left this year, decided to spend one of them atjoeymayfield. there are a lot of items on the menu and 'disappointment' is not one of them. tha dawg and mrs. dawg shared an appetizer (lettuce wraps)(8 out of 10), a main course (ravioli)(9.5 out of 10), and dessert (donuts)(9 out of 10 - that mascarpone!). drinks - delicious! post-meal coffee - delicious! service - outstanding! atmosphere / room - outstanding! (if there's another restaurant in mayfield with a 15' by 30' infinity pool, i haven't heard about it.) keep up the good work. tha dawg gives this place - 9.5 out of 10 and a promise to return real soon.

sunday lunch. the two of us paid a visit tojoeymayfield fo lunch. we chose the dining room as our location, even though it was overly air-conditioned.
seth, our server, was quite new with joey's, but did sterling work looking after us, and showed pretty good knowledge of the menu and liquor menu.
my spouse ordered the ahi tuna tacos, which she thoroughly enjoyed, and found to be a nice size for lunch, even though listed as an appetizer. i ordered the lobster grilled cheese sandwich with fries, some of which were consumed by my companion!
the sandwich was well stuffed with succulent pieces of crustacean and brie and mild cheddar, then nicely grilled. i found the accompanying seafood sauce rather heavy on the horseradish. the fries were almost shoestring ones, and were excellent!
i did taste the wasabi aioli that was served with the tuna tacos, and found it lacking in bite, but with a hint of mint to it. our server told us that it was a "green goddess" sauce.
coffee was excellent, service hiccuped once over getting a refill, but aside from that the staff seemed pleasant and cheerful.
we will be back, but will avoid the bar due to the "water hazard".
