joe's farm grill

eat at joe's!. after hearing about joe's farm grill, we were curious as to whether it lives up to the buzz or not. the food was delicious and the menu reflects a creative view toward many diner staples.
the setting is refreshing, on the edge of a vegetable garden. we felt like we had entered a park. on the day we visited, the outside dining area was inundated with flies. but then again, it is outside and beside a garden... so that is to be expected. there is the option to eat inside, which we chose.
the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. the fontina burger was better than the menu description, and that sounded great!
the person who took our order at the window seemed like they couldn't have been less interested in being there, and rather than telling us that the drinks and condiments were provided outside, left it to us to search for them. admittedly, if you dine outside, the location of these items is obvious as soon as you step out the back door. but for those who choose to dine inside, it is not so apparent. there were more than a few puzzled patrons wandering around with empty cups in their hands...not a big deal, just awkward.
despite the lackluster cashier, the food, atmosphere, and overall experience were very enjoyable.
they also feature a really inviting breakfast menu. can'twaitto return! prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity served.

recently i went
to joe’s farm grill, it is this little restaurant in gilbert arizona. my friend
and i met there for brunch and it was amazing. very family oriented and kid
friendly.  there were a lot of families,
even some pets and kids playing.

i found a few
things kind of off about the restaurant. the set up was a little weird. i didn’t
like how the drinks and silverware station was outside. i found thewaitkind
of long, but manageable.

i did happen to
love the food though. it was a good southern tasting meal. i got a vegetable omelet,
pita bread, and a side of fruit. it was amazing! also, the staff was really
nice too. i would recommend joe’s farm grill. you should go try it.

i love going to joe's with the kids and meeting up with family. be prepared towaitbut the food is worth it. i am all about the buffalo chicken sandwich! the fries are great too. my kids love the shakes and rootbeer float.

long lines, too much hype!. i don't know what the big deal is about with regard to this place... everything on this menu is just "ok..." well except for the onion rings... those were better than average... otherwise it isn't really worth thewaitin line...

also... in terms of the line... they have one person taking orders!!! the line is huge, and they have 2-3 registers... they could easily make it go more quickly if they were organized... but it appears they like to make their customerswaitfor mediocre food...

the shame, is that a lot of things on their menu sound and look good... but the flavor isn't there overall, or it has a tgif friday's kind of vibe to it... just having farm fresh ingredients isn't enough joe! where's the flavor? where's the technique?

i had their famous burger, it was thin and in need of seasoning... my fiancee had the bbq pork sandwich... which tasted like chain bbq... not a "bad" meal, but definitely not worth all the hype... or the line... or the price tag...

overall, it should be three stars, but i'm giving it two because it doesn't live up to its own hype! if you're gonna talk the talk, you need to walk the walk!

fix the lines!. this place is great but the lines are always too long (see uploaded photo). worse, people in front of me would keep inviting others that showed up later to join them ahead in the line. this made my 35 minutewaitchange to 50 minutes.

the management should introduce a ticket system so that i can pull my number and go sit down. when my number is called, i'll make my order. this doesn't stop other people from letting late arrivals add their orders before mine but i don't mind waiting longer if i don't have to stand in that long line.

everyone who is upset that the line is long just doesn't understand how this place works. they have one register open, so that the orders get out out quickly. youwaitno more than 5-10 minutes for your whole order. don't like the line? go when it isn't busy. this place has a line on the weekends because it is awesome. everything is fresh. employees are constantly working, and striving to perfect great food to impress the owners. if you want to get waited on hand and foot like a star, this is not the place for you. but the generic restaurant of being "waited on", is over done. this is different, it is fun and it is like having a fancy picnic! also, the bathroom is awesome!

love this place! went for the first time last fathers day. i took my husband and my 5 yr old step-daughter. very family friendly. great ambiance, amazing food and fantastic service. expect to be patient. it will be busy on weekends and evenings. expect towaitin line to make your order,waitfor your food, andwaitto find a table. it's all worth it though. the food is fresh, reasonabley priced and amazing to eat.

normally i love this place but tonight i was disappointed. i could not understand why on earth you wouldn't open more than one register when the line is about 45 min to an hour wait. while waiting, we watched several slow moving or stationary staff, about 1/4 of the grille being used but you still have only one register open. that appeared to me just plain laziness. i would rather place my order andwaitoutside on a bench thanwaitin line for 45 minutes. i'm not going to come on weekends anymore.

got to have the grilled wedge salad. the smokiness of the lettuce makes it taste like a burger w/o the patty and bun. yum. can'twaitto go back

the food was wonderful. by far the best i've had a long time. all the ingredients used are grown on location. although the service is quite rude. ordering food is quite unpleasant. although the food is good, the atmosphere lacks exactly that; atmosphere. one would expected it to be a farm theme not a drab, outdated seventy's look. ordering it quite a pain in the butt. stand in a very long line for a very long time, arrive at a window to a very rude employees, get in the order andwaitabout 20 minutes. pick up your food and good luck finding a place to sit. all in all the restaurant isn't completely a bust, i do recommend it but i strongly urge takeout

great food!. love joe's farm grill! everything is delicious- i usually have towaita while to get the food but it's totally worth it!

ok food, fast food atmosphere. this place, out in the middle of nowhere, didn't live up to the reputation. with a name like 'farm grill', you get the impression that it's a country place. but instead you line up like a fast food joint and thenwaitaround for your order to be called. it took quite awhile. the place was pretty messy everywhere i looked. trash everywhere. kids running around unsupervised. the food was good but not great, and the unpleasant environment really ruined the whole experience. not worth it.

some of the best food ive ever eaten. so fresh and flavorful. i cantwaitto move out to arizona so i can make it a regular stop!

just ok. it was just ok.

lot's of hype because of foodtv, but the food just wasn't worth the longwaitin line.

just ate at joe's. well worth thewaitin line for the 4b & choc shake.
